F1 » Lotterer set to replace Kobayashi at Caterham

ProfessorX: Umm, Lotterer is a much better driver, has raced Formula Nippon (open wheel experience) and did I mention hes a much better driver? I happen to think he would wipe the floor with Nico too.
This is beyond funny. Kobayashi is a driver who say given a top car has the ability to win races, but money has shoved him into the worst seat in the grid, lotterer is a driver who is doing his first F1 race at age 32, lets see him try out pace ericsson by the usual 1 second in qual that Koby does. Kobayshi can fight Marussias consistently with a car thats a good .75 to a second slower, ill be surprised if Lotterer outpaces Ericsson.

F1 » Verstappen gets 2015 Toro Rosso drive

Welshie:
biaggi: Formula1 has become a joke.Let's better call Formula teenager.A lot of talk about Miller skipping moto2 but this case is fare worse
If he is that good but as others have said, it will be formula Kindergarten soon. Why have all these feeder classes if people won't use them and just bypass everything bar say F3 or Formula Ford to go to F1? GP2, GP3 etc would rapidly become worthless.
good there are too many feeders already, f1 should make a system like how motogp does it with moto2 and 3 where they run at all the races and then it would be much easier to see who is going places.

F1 » Who has been your F1 driver of the year so far?

JohnMarston:
ProfessorX:
JohnMarston:
WYNK: Ricciardo, Bottas Hamilton in that order, three future WDC's.
You know Hamilton is already a world champion right...?
you can win future championships, no? I guess it remains to be seen if Lewis's car can manage to not catch on fire, or have massive system failures. Rosberg is getting shown the fk up, hes acting like hes already won the WDC.
My English isn't the best but shouldn't you refer to Hamilton as a multiple world champion not a future world champion in that case?
Future multiple world champion you mean.

F1 » Another way to the top

I would say most of those that did the competiton have had a background or atleast have done a bit of real experience in racing, be it track days or what not. I qualified for the Australian GT Academy this year and i myself have quite a bit of Kart/Track experience and i still wasnt good enough to progress(i would say mainly due to fitness levels not being good enough), so to say these guys are starting from a fresh sheet of paper is very wrong, but at the same time its no where near what i would say a race driver.
