F1 » Lowe: Pirelli tyres have improved F1 racing spectacle

It has made passing cheap as we know more oftern the not the car getting passed is a sitting duck as they have to crawl as their cheese tyres have melted. Give F1 some Dignity back, Have a tyre war, get rid of DRS and make the cars Significantly harder to drive at the limit. If the cars are easy to drive at the limit it's much harder to pass as everyone will have very close inputs, if you change that by making the cars have significantly lower Aero grip the differences between drivers will be bigger and then passing can be natural.

F1 » Ericsson: Last Caterham races saved my career

HairyLuthier: I seem to remember something about the two Caterhams not being equal in terms of updates. It was said that because of Erricsson's backing he got the only aero updates, Kobayashi on the other hand had suspension parts wrapped in Gaffa tape.
That is exactly what happened. Ericsson was consistently demolished in qualifying and the race then when it was learned that they couldn't afford to fix The Suspension on one of the Caterhams Kobayashi's pace completely died and he was several seconds slower then Ericsson. Ericsson is just a Swedish Max Chilton.
