MotoGP » Yamaha wants Rossi to ‘stay to end of career’

Its great to see Vale doing well on the bike this year I think more was expected from him last year but it didnt happen as soon as everyone hoped but now he has quashed all the "past it" rumours Lin has reacted and grabbed him for the remainder of his career This year he has done well and is in the top 3 in the championship He is a PR dream and Lin Jarvis knows that They want to release Road Bikes and associate VR with the R1/R6 etc Vale brings sponsors to the team and this must mean more £ for development to compete with the Hondas ? Salary wise is a mute point with his external merchandise activity (£££) so...dont know why its a shock to anyone really ?

MotoGP » Difficult to analyse Suzuki potential, says Dovizioso

Theres a lot of mention of Casey testing but I cant see him wanting to come back to MotoGP - his reasons for leaving were very personal aligned to the politics and behaviors within the sport . Berating the guy as useless merely exacerbates his reasons for not returning and the narrow mindedness of some who cant see past their favourite riders.........Of course he would make a great test rider - fact, he is fast , he won on two different manufacturers and would add value to any team remember there is only a race if one than one person competes - we need a mix of riders to put on a show

MotoGP » BT Sport reveals MotoGP TV line-up

This is an awful line up BBC sport Did I see James Toseland there - will he have his teeth fixed by then - last years lisping on camera was awful and his commentary is banal Susie perry in the past really knew her stuff , so aside of a great set of norks what will Melanie Sykes bring to this show Finally I think its love or hate , but when it comes to Toby Moodie i cant stand the guys voice and his commentary irks me - he comes across as an armschair sportsman with an access to wikipedia I think Matt Roberts and Steve parrish were great commentators. Maybe we can have a sound option of "commentary and race noise or race noise only"

MotoGP » Dani Pedrosa undergoes arm pump surgery

I think the bikes are getting faster and faster all the time and Dani is suffering being the wee fella he is to wrestle the bike and this has now manifested with the arm pump issue He obviously knows he has a tough enough job against marquez and am sure he would rather be the number 1 repsol rider so great on him for getting on with it and not complaining the bikes too powerful and my arms are too small etc. Cal crutchlow could take out a leaf here - his complaining isnt doing him or the brand any favours would love to see dani win a championship - he always seems so close I am riding at jerez this weekend and having watched last weeks race really looking forward to it - forgive me if I dont post my times !

Did you even read this article? A terrible line up for BBC Sport? James Toseland doing the commentary? Toby Moody?
Er... yes I did - Toseland is an awful personality and Julian Ryder as what I meant (not Toby Moody) who is atrocious

MotoGP » Should MotoGP change its points system?

urgh - changing the points system is pointless - you are as well just amending the points after the race to keep everybody +/-5 in that case MotoGP is heading for the bucket with a 4 horse race every week unless something changes 1. The manufactures can all keep abreast of each other or 2. They introduce more limitations which then moves away from the prototype benefits and you have WSBK terrotory or 3. Move to a single class but then Honda already runs MOTO2 so where does that leave us ? In comparison I watched BSB at cadwell the other week and was fixed for the whole race (everyone nose to tail)

MotoGP » Lorenzo 'the best' in MotoGP, says Rossi

Honestly, I am cringing a little reading the story. I dont believe any of these riders think they are in a team and are working as team mates. This is a sole rider sport and the rider is out for #1 and the best contract available to them. Vale couldnt care who his team mate is yet he knows he is struggling to get to the top 3 so out comes the "george is my mate and I like is riding style" comments. If Rossi gets close to jorge again that data sharing is out but until he can get back on track..if he can... then its play nice

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi's new crew chief named

difficult this one - Vale has the same bike as jorge so why is is so much slower - is he really saying JB couldnt make the bike as quick as JLo's ? Galbusera may come in and do a great job of ensuring the data they gather transforms into a grippy fast turning bike but the biggest demon rossi faces is himself following the leg break , loss of form and perhaps confidence since 2009 I like many others would love to see him to well again but aside of CRTs MOTOGP is about the rider predominantly and our fave rider has lost the edge
