MotoGP » Eugene Laverty looking forward to Suzuki MotoGP tests

STRIGOY6666: Pedrosa and Laverty will ride the Suzuki MotoGP bike next year.
Pedrosa will be on a satellite honda next year. He is now institutionalised and won't have the assertion to adapt to a completely new motogp bike. EL and someone else but don't know who. Scott Redding would be good - young fresh and could develop a bike - but not sure what his contract is...

MotoGP » Rossi: We destroyed the front tyre

TalentFan: Ever thought that it's NOT the tyres? I've said it a few times.... ALL the riders have to try to make time is rag the front end hard. The electronics remove the ability to do that with the drive end... A wrong tyre choice may well make you slower but he management system will stop it spinning up too much and getting roasted. It's all relative.... But all the guys who burned their fronts were racing hard while Smith used his head after what Qatar taught him... Which is that once you reach the front end limit there's only a shagged tyre or a face plant in your future if you push even a tiny fraction over. The Repsols have more acceleration and better drive electronics, so they have the luxury of top pace without having to push the front as hard. So they have no F tyre issues while others push the fronts through trying to race and possible setup also. Its a theme I expect to continue. Just like Repsols running away with it.

MotoGP » Austin MotoGP, COTA - Warm-up Results

RaceRoad: yeah soft for rossi that would be very good for "NOTHING" He needs racepace not 1 fast lap. QP was yesterday. can't wait btw!
Roadrace, my understanding is that the yamahas of rossi and jlo are opting to run soft for the race (see gpone site). Who said anything about "1 fast lap"? The soft will give them afaster start but they need to understand how it will fare later on.
