MotoGP » Fracture means surgery for Marc Marquez

Codger: Marc was successful in 2013 & 2014 by overriding his bike. The Honda somehow was very forgiving allowing him to catch his mistakes. They changed the bike for 2015 and he couldn't do it any more. When he reverted back to the 2014 bike it was too late, Yamaha had moved on. Very similar to Stoner. Casey was able to override his 07 Ducati and rear wheel steer it to overcome the vague front end. They changed his bike and the Electronics and he could no longer do it. I just hope that Marc's career at the very top isn't prematurely curtailed in the same way that I think Ducati negatively influenced Casey's career.
actually the three things that helped Casey the most are: 1. He is a much better motorcyclist 2. He had a faster bike down the straight 3. He wasn't on the same rubber as Vale (conflicts of interest you know).
In a head to head marc would have eaten casey alive...

MotoGP » Marquez leads Lorenzo in cooler morning warm-up

DontTesttheX: Incredible how the commentators are writing rossi off for the win. They never learn...
Commentators are terrible if you're watching BT Sport. They don't really know anything aside from Julian Ryder. However, the has been a clear forecast of no rain so I feel that natural Marquez and Lorenzo will be stronger but Rossi will be there. Lorenzo and Marquez have won their races in dry/hot conditions. Rossi is much better in mixed/cool/wet conditions. It's MotoGP, it's anyones for the taking.
Julian Ryder's best days are well behind him. For someone who has made a living off the back of rossi, the way Ryder appears to cross his fingers that rossi doesn't win is cringeworthy. Basically cheerleads the joe-averages in the paddock and especially the brits. Sucks up to pedrosa who has had ample opportunity without capitalising, and also if dovi gets 4th or 5th on ducati its a 'great result' but if rossi did it on a ducat
