F1 » Ricciardo: First victory ‘surreal’

Anyone who didn't think Dan was good enough to do what he's doing now didn't pay close enough attention to what he was doing in the Torro Rosso. You don't spank your teammate by up to a second or more in qualifying regularly if you're not a super talent. So glad to see him win his first F1 race. Hopefully it's the first of many more.

MotoGP » Le Mans Moto3 - Race Results

People bagging Miller after that race are just looking for a reason to bag him. He didnt like the way the riders were riding the last few races, so he said something about it, the authorities did nothing about it (just like they always do when its a Euro rider running people off the road or banging into them) so he adjusted and beat them at thier own game. The funniest thing was the rider who started it all in that race bitching and gesticulating at Miller after the race for giving back the treatment he gave Miller. Unbelievable...

MotoGP » Rossi mistake ends Marquez victory battle

eadgbe: I think Rossi was about to use the tactics that were so successful against Casey Stoner at Laguna that time. Stoner had a similar level of superiority over the field that day but Rossi messed up his rhythm and teased a mistake out of him. Of course Stoner wasn't as much of a racer as Marc and the ploy probably needs a certain amount of hatred to work. Would've been interesting to watch though. Roll on Mugello
Thats a nice load of rubbish you've spouted there. Stoner was on a bike that no-one else could ride above 7th, and was fastest around the track by riding it in a way no-one else could, while Rossi was on the best handling bike in the field at the time. Today, Marquez is on the best bike and Rossi on the second best bike, so Marquez who is quicker than Rossi by up to a second a lap had no problems getting away. Put Stoner on Marquez's bike (which Stoner helped develop last year) and he would of done the same to Rossi.

F1 » Horner: Driver pairing ‘a walk in the park’

interestingly, horner said that ricciardo also ignored orders! so it seems that it is ok for ricciardo to ignore orders, but not for seb. and the same thing happened last year...webber constantly ignored orders and hampered sebs races until pulled in. If you are talking about the teams orders to drop back from Bottas at the start of the race then that is totally different. Ricciardo has not ignored orders to let his teammate past as Vettel did Richard. Ric thought he could get Bottas so he had a crack, once he realised it wouldnt be an option with the merc engine's power to hold him off down the straight he backed off. He didnt say Tough Luck! :)

F1 » Horner: Driver pairing ‘a walk in the park’

I guess you didn't see where Seb started or who got the fastest lap? Seb was the best non-Merc driver last Sunday.
You mean late in the race when Seb was on low fuel and a brand new set of the softer compund tyres, while Dan was just cruising on hards and still finished 27 seconds up the road? I wouldnt read too much into that mate. Dan was nowhere near pushing at that stage.

MotoGP » Cal Crutchlow ruled out of Argentina

Good to see Tetley and Realist are continuing their hate campaign against Stoner for doing no more than what Mr Rossi did when he was on a Ducati, which was say what was wrong with the bike when asked. Funny how Cal "tells it like it is" and gets lauded for it by those same people bagging Stoner. Stoner will be remembered as one of the very best riders the world has ever seen, and a two time MotoGP champion. Its only people who watch reality tv shows and are in love with personalities over actual bike riding talent that think he is a moaner and complain about his personality. Doohan was meaner than Stoner and he gets praised. The hypocrity would be hilarious if it wasnt so sad that motorbike racing has become about personality over talent.
