F1 » Alonso: I still want to finish my career with Ferrari

F1 fans still remember crashgate and how all worked out to benefit this crybaby, while his former younger teammate Piquet Jr. was sacrificed to help make FA move up the points. I have no respect for a driver who still needs the helpf ot team manager everytime his team mate Felipe approaches him to make a pass on the track. FA is wasting his time dreaming the he is going to get another WDC. In reality, his F1 career has already ended with crashgate.

F1 » Ecclestone on European races: Whatever goes, goes

There's nothing of interest in F1 anymore. Gone is the thrilling sound of internal combustion engines, the overtaking on the track, battles for position across the entire field. F1 today was converted into a very boring, quasi-digital racing environment thanks to the FIA. The lawnmower powertrain regulation change mandated by FIA enriched a lot of people outside F1 but caused the very few active teams literally broke. Nice job CVC!! The F1 teams, race track owners should declare independence from FIA and rebuild F1 as a COMPETITIVE RACING ON THE TRACK spectacle. Reinstate V8's, V10's and V12's. It would bring back traditional fans, new fans and the cost of entry for new teams would be more attractive. The regulation changes are so vast and the cost of entry and maintenance so high, that only an oligopoly of only 4, maybe 5 teams will remain in this pathetic circus, pretending to be competing against each other! F1 today is as exciting to watch as indoor go-kart races. As long as FIA i

F1 » Ferrari calls for meeting on F1 future

F-1 died a slow painful, agonizing death. OVer the past 10 years, the FIA did an outstanding job of converting F-1 Racing into an ecological competition, in which racing on the track, is no longer a priority. F-1 is relegated to a mediocre "Cruising" show, in which the main objective is to save tires, save engines, save transmissions and save fuel. In short, no RACING is allowed in F-1. The big-auto companies supporting the FIA and their crazy rules can look as good citizens at the expense of true racing which was the foundation of this once great motorsport. I have not followed a single race in 2014. My favorite motorsport has died. Good luck to Ferrari, if they can pull out of FIA and bring back my sport to life again. It is impossible to have any respect for the FIA in their quest to convert F1 in the fiasco cruising show of today. I can't understand how some people can still enjoy this fake racing theather, comprised of one team and two drivers competing agains each other. Wasn't e

F1 » Prost: F1 has lost the emotion

Prost is absolutely correct. F-1 racing during his era and with Senna, will never be duplicated. I am glad no one got injured but the quality of the racing spectacle then was something that present day F-1 "theater", perfectly sanitized, sterilized and let me say "pseudo-environmentally friendly" will never matchThis re-invented F1 is a complete f-i-a sco, no other way to describe it. F-1 was boring beyond belief from around 2008 to 2013. Then came 2014 with it's absurd, stratospherically costly regulation changes. And then F1 fell flat on its face. And it is still lying there. The notion of having only one F-1 team competing against itself in Formula-1 is not motor racing. Thanks to the FIA, I have not watched a single F-1 race in 2014 and the few video clips I've seen from the first 2 races of 2014, reinforced the notion that F-1 expired on Jan/01/2014. RIP.

F1 » Business as usual for Vettel at Monza

F1 has been turned into the most boring form of motorsport on the planet. I laugh at the media hype, claiming week after week, how exciting the races have been!? There is no incentive and no excitement left in F1 to justify spending two hours watching a boring repetitive parade in which overtaking on the track has taken a third seat to lame pit stop strategy. The FIA and the gnome cashed in but the majority of teams cant even pay their bills. rip F1.

F1 » F1 2014 driver line-up: What's known...?

@pcxmax, I had the same opinion about Massa but that was before the accident which almost killed him.Montez says he's send warnings to MAssa but, truly, same as last year, the year before, there isn't someone with his driving skills and experience willing to become #2 at Scuderia racing with crybaby. Alonso has the shadow of crashgate following him and doubt anyone else in new generation or not could expect any future there. New engines will require a lot of communication between driver and engineering so I think most teams will tend to avoid making widespread personnel and driver for next year.

F1 » F1 VOTE: Choose the best-looking car livery of 2013!

ths poll is g@# ! Who frek ing cares about the looks of a F1 car?!! The car that wins the most races is the only thing that matters. Crash net should create a poll for best looking lady around the paddock once a month! Maybe that might bring back some excitment to the F1 news, because racing doesn't exist anymore. Present day F1 is a wind tunnel aerodynamics competition in which driver skills are secondary.
