MotoGP » Marquez lauds 'important' second, faces title showdown

MM has best bike on the grid? so is that why Rossi is not in the same zipcode at Jlo? Me thinks the Honda and Yamaha are closer to equal than most think, either that or JLo is the new GOAT in waiting. Great riders get the most out of their bikes, Jlo is doing that in spades. If the Honda's were light years ahead of the Yamahammers, me thinks Dani and Marc would have been cleaning up the track all year against Jlo, not so in the real world. Just my two cents.

MotoGP » Lorenzo seals memorable triumph, keeps title race alive

Marquez, regardless of electronic gizmo's or whatever, is obviously a rider trying to push the limits and has suffered crashes in the process, he is not a robot with a robot Honda that makes him fast and faster, he is using his tools the best he can, and sometimes it does not work out! Love his go for it enthusiasm, hope it brings home a record rookie championship!. Totally admire Jlo's super smooth, super fast, super motivated riding---but, still want the Marc to win the WC.

MotoGP » Marquez: I just touched Pedrosa a little bit

@everyone No question that Honda and Yamaha have some pretty awesome technology. How that relates to success or failure of riders in the now, vs yesteryear, is impossible to say. Life is about adaptation. Maybe Marc Marquez, Jlo, Petrobot, Cstoner are the best adapters in the new technology ride game, then again, maybe they would excel without all the technology in "old school" racing. who knows? Not us, impossible to compare. I am fracking 60 years old going on 20, and at my regional trackdays, I ride in the expert class and off about 95% of my fellow riders, so would I have been somebody famous had I had the chance when young? Who knows? Not me! I do think it gives me a little insight into these racers and I think Marc is evidently a good adapter to current technology in bikes, but, he may have been superfast, relatively, without it. Who knows? It has been exciting to see Marc come along with his riding skills and enthusiasm, I did not watch him in mot

MotoGP » Marquez: I just touched Pedrosa a little bit

"I just touched him, a little bit" So, let us compare this to Rossi punting Gibernau off the track, or Pedrosa crashing out Hayden, so in this context, non-event. Comparisons to Simoncelli (sic?) are not relevant, Marquez is not Simoncelli, nor does he ride like him, other than being aggressive and riding all out. He is a crazy fast, record beating rider, and is really fun to watch, sure he takes chances, ahhh, who that is really good in racing has not? I think it is getting harder to overtake with electronics, etc, so to move ahead, you have to push the envelope some. I think he as been incredibly under control and polite, for a superfast, record setting rookie. There is a reason he is running up other riders exhaust, he is really fast and they are fracking getting in his way. haha Go Marc. Love watching ya.

MotoGP » 2013 MotoGP champion: Marquez, Pedrosa or Lorenzo?

Not over till the fat lady sings, but Marc is is the driver seat right now and on a roll. The thing that could get him, is he is not interested in second or third place, at all,and is willing to keep pushing, no matter what. Makes for good entertainment, amazing pretty much all of us. Hope he makes it to the finish line on the last six races. Slow, behind, second or third, or ride to preserve the championship, do not seem to be in his vocabulary. He wants to win every race. He is definitely one of the most no excuse riders I have ever seen ride and comment on the races later, even when they don't go his way.
