F1 » FIA confident it can avoid two-tier engine performance split

Why would manufacturers stay in F1 spending millions to develop mickey mouse engines to compete with 40year old engine tech knocked together in one of Bernies mates sheds, it just devalues the principal F1 being the premier formula why not just let lower formula teams join in and give them a bit of a tune up + a few indy cars let them all come and complete this circus full of cr4p F1 is in danger of becoming

Does he think if he tells them to companies will write off huge development costs just to lower the unit cost of an engine, it was him and his cronies that stipulated the use of these ridiculous systems that have made this sport more of an economy drive ( limited tyres & fuel) and by restricting development have strangled F1. As motorsport it is rapidly becoming the most boring car sport on the planet.

Whoopee honda force the superbike into the realms of the super rich wouldnt care if it was made from solid gold its a roadbike a copy not the real thing these will disappear into the arms of collectors and so called celebs and never be seen again. Fairly indifferent about its looks the Italians beat it hands down for style at considerably less money
