MotoGP » Early Pedrosa exertions 'prevented final challenge'

Some of the theories here are laughable, but the fact that some of you actually believe that Pedrosa would follow team orders despite being second in the championship says alot about what people think about his mentality.Anybody who has watched motogp for years would not have been the slightest bit surprised about Pedrosa today. When it comes time for a rider to take charge and attack, more often than not Pedrosa is not that man. Today was yet another example of Pedrosa shrinking under the spotlight. He arrived on the back wheel of marquez, and just like last race didnt have what it takes mentally to show a wheel to him. When people talk about him not having what it takes to win a championship, they are not talking about ability, they are talking about mentality. He doesn't have it.

MotoGP » Czech MotoGP, Brno - Race Results

As many posters predicted, and were downvoted for yesterday-Crutchlow was 4th into turn 1. Crutchlow fans need to realise that the only day that matters is a Sunday. Pedrosa is frustrating. I cannot believe that at the start of the race he sat in behind Marquez when he had the chance to get past. Forget about Lorenzo ahead at that stage, Marquez is the guy you need to beat. It's because of things like this that he will always be the bridesmaid.

MotoGP » Crutchlow eyed WSBK during rookie season

Interesting comment samas. You say Rossi cruised around at Ducati which is extremely disrepectful to the riders Rossi beat - the 2012 championship shows Rossi ahead of Crutchlow, what does that mean? Since Rossi achieved dry podiums and a dry second place, for Crutchlow to do better than Rossi he would have to win a race on the Ducati something he cant even manage on what is accepted to be essentially a factory yamaha. If I were a Crutchlow fan I would be less worried about Crutchlow showing up Rossi's performance on the Ducati and more concerned about the likely scenario that Dovi will wipe the floor with Crutchlow yet again, completely shattering his chances of ever getting another good motogp ride.

MotoGP » Phillip Island hoping for Stoner appearance

Stoner should not be allowed to wildcard, this is ridiculous. If he wanted to race, he shouldn't have retired, and from what I hear he doesn't want to race, so why are they putting pressure on him? We don't need him showing up as he pleases to race. We all know how good he is at PI meaning he will probably take points off of championship contenders-is that fair? Honda having an Extra factory rider against the Yamaha's? If it's going to happen then Honda should be forced to withdraw either Marquez or Pedrosa for the round, but I will be dissapointed for the sport if he does race.

F1 » Hamilton triumphs in Hungary with his first win for Mercedes

Raikonnen did a great job, especially on the second stint but there are some things to think about for the people that think him moving to red bull should be a wrap. Grosjean has shown up Raikonnen for two races in a row in terms of race pace, although bad strategy cost him at Nurburgring and typical over aggression cost him here, it is something that will be noticed by Red bull. The other thing to bare in mind is that his inabiity to perform on a saturday will cost him alot more in a Red bull than a Lotus. We saw today how the red bull's lack of straight line speed made it ver difficult to pass button. IF Raikonnen goes to Red bull he cannot afford to be qualifying 6th and 7th. Vettel will have too much of an advantage on him a the start of races whilst Raikonnen will struggle to overtake the Ferrari's Mercedes and Lotus's, and all of this is assuming that he will have Vettel's race pace or better-there is of course the possibility he just wont be as fast as Vettel.
