WSBK » Melandri beats Guintoli to controversial win

Why should Marco Melandri let Sylvan Guintoli win??? No, if he is riding for the championship, then he should win to gain it. Absolutely ridiculous team orders are. Ruins racing, as far as im concerned. Tom Sykes is in the lead, fair enough he has got there by winning or getting more points. Marco is still in with a chance of being 3rd, so why should he give up important points to himself to help guintolis points...He shouldn't, simple as.

WSBK » Melandri: It’s in my DNA to go for the win!

Why is it that everyone slates Marco Melandri fr his overtaking moves.....It sees to me that whenever he does an overtaking move on a rider,ok maybe some of them are abit risky...he gets called a "dirty rider"....But when others do the same move or make the other rider take evasive action, its fine!!!!! and even been called a "clean overtake"...Marco is going to be better than ever this year. He is just what the Aprilia team need and they will be proud of him, just as BMW were by him giving them their first win. So to all you Marco "slaters"....watch this space.... :)

WSBK » Marco Melandri excited by Aprilia return

Marco Melandri is a brilliant racer..and thats what its about, RACING..It seems to me that whenever another rider does the same kind of move, its a fantastic move and they get a round of applause, but when marco does it, he gets slatted for it. I remember the Donington round where Jonathon Rae shuffed of marco, who hit into leon haslam. Melandri got the blame..how the hell did he do it, when rae came charging through.Makes me bloody cross, and yes im a Marco Melandri fan and have been for 9 years.

WSBK » BMW announces WSBK withdrawal

I have been a Marco Melandri fan for 9 years. I dont ever miss a race and go to silverstone and donington every year. I even got to meet him this year at donington too and had my pic taken with him. To hear that BMW are pulling out of WSBK is devestating news. I have never known such bad luck for one person in a career. I am going to silverstone this weekend, but i have the awful feeling that it may be the last time i see Marco race. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he retires now. He is 30, i know its not old, but after all the crap he has been though, its about time he had some good luck and i was so hoping he would win the championship. But, alas, i think that may not happen now...:(
