F1 » Vettel: Only in England!

Kozeyekan:
Russell13: Abit off topic I know but with all rbr's talk about having options of new engine suppliers could they be thinking of cosworth as sometime ago I heard they had been working on a v6, maybe a redbull buy out? Then they would have an engine source for other projects such as road cars and also its not too far from Milton Keynes either.
It depends on how sneaky they want to get. For example, they technically use Infiniti engines, which are made by Renault, but there would be no real reason why they couldn't use Nissan, Dacia or even Red Bull itself. They'd have ot have a separate manufacturing facility, (as I understand it) but they could register as a new engine supplier while building on the technology of the current Renault powerplant, neatly dodging the engine development freeze.
Really it depends if Renault are willing to cooperate
