F1 » F1 2013 POLL: Who stood out at Suzuka?

I am sorry but engine maps differ. Red Bull mad a change to their maps. YES Renault is the supplier but the maps differ from team to team because the cars and designs differ. Renault supply a standard control to the teams. What you do and how you manipulate it is from team to team The fact is that the suppliers are the same. How they run the map is worlds apart. Don't you pay attention?

Daft you say. But since Spa Vettle had troubled starts? He got the better of it as he normally uses more rpm and gets a eased in acceleration . Vettle also have a smoother driving style working even better as Mark putting down the power to early and the TC having to do more work creating more of a delay. This is just my theory how ever daft it may sound to some. I am not trying to enforce this on anyone

I personally think that they are using some kind of TC and it is easy to have a trouble start with a TC as it creates a delay in engine response and so giving the car quicker traction and better acceleration trough corners. That is how I see it and for the fact that Red Bull and Lotus uses the same engine maps. Get your facts right please. Red Bull runs different maps. If my knowledge don't fail me. They are creating the delay in the gearbox. Letting the gearbox work as a TC.
