WSBK » Leon Haslam signs for Red Devils Aprilia

Firstly, I'm a Brit. LH has had the odd moment of speed, but has built a career having won no championships since schoolboy motocross in 1996! I like the fact we have more Brits competing nowadays, but unless the 'top' Brits are given the chance to beat the WORLDS best I feel their great achievements are undermined. Maybe part of the reason the crowds are dwindling? Better to use up-and-comers or WCs who are on the decline, not journeymen. LH is like a sales rep - always moving companies and blaming the product.....

MotoGP » Moto3: Jack Miller wins, Alex Marquez champion

just watched a replay of Aragon, Marquez followed the dry line perfectly - there was no way he could've turned tighter as it was damp. Miller thought going round the outside of someone on a dry line that wasn't wide enough for 2 bikes was possible, then moans when it goes wrong. Miller gets pushed wide by Fenatti and 1 Penalty point isn't enough, but Miller wipes out 2 riders completely by braking about 20m too late and 2 penalty points is too much he says. Sore loser. Moaner. Tough racer but doesn't like receiving his own medicine. Liability. Marquez deserves the WC in all aspects. Miller will make Cal look like a true English Gentleman!

WSBK » Crutchlow on WSBK troubles, BSB strengths

Silverstone is the worst track in the UK for spectating, you sit far from the track, lap is too long, and no atmosphere. Someone mentioned Dorna videopass - I bought it for the GP and here's what I think- the commentators know very little about riding bikes, have no interesting gossip, and nearly every other sentence is like the final sentence of a news report. The worst thing is, assuming you get to the video page without seeing the result, that the image you have to click on to watch a race is usually a photo of the blimmin winner! THEN there's the ' live timing' below the video, which, if watching after-the-fact, shows the final result!!!!!! It's IMPOSSIBLE to watch a race without seeing the result first. Rubbish!!!!!!

Ah, go to the Video menu, at the top-left of motogp.com, and at the bottom there is a link to the path /en/videos-nospoiler Anyone else think this site's comments system could be much better than it is? [\bl

MotoGP » Marquez: We struggled

It's nothing special. It's happened to me at least twice - the first time I heard Steve Parrish tell me to pump the lever (in my head) which saved me from a proper biggy. I used to hate Parrish's repetitive comments, but I'm glad that one stuck!!!!! Maybe I should discuss with my engineer (ie me)!!!
