MotoGP » Eugene Laverty: MotoGP talks with Aprilia, Suzuki, Ducati

So the most methodical, consistent and quickest rider in WSBK (Sykes) isn't good enough for GP?! Hilarious!!! Laverty is overrated, IMHO he's serving merely to increase the prestige of the rides he speaks of. Nice guy, crashes too much though and can't consistently out-pace his rookie team mate, just like he couldn't out-pace MM in the Yam days. In fact, didn't Gigi drop him in favour of MM for the Aprilia SBK ride?!

Well Sykes was on Kawasaki since 2009 and didn't do anything till 2012.... Thats when Kawasaki upped the bike. It's the best bike on the grid ad he's the best Kawasaki rider. He's a good rider but he's got the package aswell. Makes a difference. Laverty was higher up there when he was with Aprilia, winning plenty of races. Suzuki aren't as competitive but they still see his merit and fair play to him.
So you're saying the aforementioned attributes of Sykes meant he was able to help Kawa turn a turd
