MotoGP » 500cc Suter enters Isle of Man TT!

Waxwing: Would current Rules allow it to race in MotoGP? Back in 2002 the class was a mix of 2 strokes and new 4 strokes and the 2 strokes got out classed pretty quick. Would that still be the case?
No, rules are clear. 1000cc four strokes. Ducati for example cannot race a 1200 panigale. 22 litres of fuel gets burned up on a ktm 300 smoker doing 130km/h max, on dirt over 120km (over 3 hrs mind you) in distance. A 500cc smoker will force a rule change on fuel allowance alone me thinks. And yes it would be.
That all makes sense, Thanks for clearing that up. (Still a Damn fine looking bike!)

F1 » Maldonado confirms F1 exit

ZEDX: Sounds like he's going to be unemployed (racing-wise) for some time, if not totally. If his sponsor wont/cant pay then his options are very limited... plus his "reputation" must surely proceed him now, meaning potential team bosses may not be that bothered or wary of what he'll do with their machinery! Might be a good draw for a local banger racing operator .. I can see him now - roaring around a field in Wiltshire in an old Morris Minor on a Saturday afternoon.... steam issuing from the engine and a door (or two) missing - yeah, go Pastor!
I'd pay to see that!

MotoGP » MotoGP riders summoned by ‘Permanent Bureau’

obyapka: Has everyone forgotten or perhaps some readership are not old enough... the past coming togethers that Rossi has had with championship rivals - albeit earlier in the season. Such as giving Gibernau no where to go but the gravel at the last corner of a race some years ago.
Ermmmm... #93 did exactly the same thing to #99 at the same corner. Seems he "got away with it" too right?
Really glad a couple of you with long enough memories have pointed these previous race clashes out, don't forget Rossi monstering Stoner out of the way a few years ago at Laguna Seca.
