F1 » Button: Alonso the big title threat

@ Bobby Well that settles that then. After weeks of speculation as to whether they might be "sandbagging" - deliberately underperforming in a bid to throw other teams off their scent - McLaren have candidly admitted that their 2009 machine is "not fast enough" to be competitive at the F1 curtain raiser in Melbourne in 16 days time. ........................................................................................ Mclarens comments to the Telegraph pre the 2009 f1 season. And at least they never made bold statements like our friend JB. And yes Lewis did moan and ask for the car to be scrapped but all what happened was a few upgrades which did help Kovi sorry Lewis to a couple of Gp wins and the car was not rebuilt. JB in 2013 has had quite a few upgrades but no podium let alone a win, it takes raw talent to win with a dog car.

F1 » Button: Alonso the big title threat

Button: " This years car is the best we have ever made" LOL Button:" McLaren will not win a race without radical updates. Button: " Lewis Hamilton has made the wrong decision in leaving McLaren" LOL. And now with Alonso showing that the Ferrari/Alonso package is clearly the second best on the grid Jenson now comes out with this obvious statement ,shame he was not as accurate with his previous comments. Some drivers should just concentrate in getting the best out of a dog car like Kovi did in 2009 with is 2 wins in a dog car.
