MotoGP » Redding's top six hopes dashed on first lap

When you take a much tighter entry than everyone else you're going to need a wider exit than them. In dense traffic where did he expect to find the room? He had three choices. 1 slow to make the corner and accept loosing track position to Lorenzo. 2 let it run wide and hope you don't collect someone. 3 try to make the turn without running wide. He tried 3 and failed. Simple mistake that many have made before him and many will make after, compounded by not apologising.

MotoGP » VIDEO: Iannone - The Ducati is fantastic!

There are 3 rear tyre options and 2 front at most race weekends. (there are occasional exceptions) Factory class bikes can only run the harder two rears, other classes can only run the softer two. This gets confusing as they sometimes get called soft, medium and hard, they also sometimes get called by their compound which can again be soft, medium and hard and sometimes teams name the hardest available to them hard when to another team it might be a medium, or a soft or who knows what else. It's a bit of a mess, a colour coding was introduced to try to help make sense of it.

MotoGP » VIDEO: Iannone - The Ducati is fantastic!

The soft tyre rule was introduced as a genuine advantage to the open class, they didn't have the power to fully utilise the harder tyres. Ducati chose to enter the open class (which then turned into factory 2) as the rules suited them. They accepted the tyre drawback so why can't the fans? The rules clearly work with two new manufacturers and a third next year.

MotoGP » Honda bosses spur Marquez to Superprestigio triumph

All of the riders will have used the best equipment available to them, there are articles about other riders bringing parts, and why wouldn't they? Any suggestion that honda's parts for MM have a such an advantage that only he could win is laughable as it implies that Honda have put years of r&d into flat track just for this race. You can't just lift technology from another discipline and beat years of existing refinement, significant time is required to adapt it.

MotoGP » Moto3: Estrella protest against Miller, Kent rejected

What is all of this talk of block passes - In a block pass you're slow at the apex but you are at the apex thereby blocking them hence the name. Miller was no where near the apex on any of the questionable passes, they were clear attempts to put Marquez as wide as possible to make him loose places. I'm my view it's unsportsmanlike, and due to it requiring Marquez to take evasive action every time it adds unnecessary risk, to do it that many times and not be penalised is a joke. Regarding Kents involvement he has openly stated that he would help Miller if given the opportunity.
