RR » TT 2015: Battered Dunlop second fastest in history

Credit where credit's due, McGuinness showed his class in the Senior and he took even the best judges by surprise with that win. King of The Mountain? King of The Sandbaggers might be more accurate. Hard to believe somebody who, TT Zero apart, was so off the pace earlier in race week could pull a performance like that out of the hat. Even some bookies were offering 14-1 on him winning the Senior! I think we witnessed one of the great Senior TTs. Some truly incredible lap times. Next year should be even more interesting now! Guy Martin is getting closer to that elusive TT win, Hutchy is back, MD will want to make up for this year, McPint and Anstey will be out to prove they're not past it, Hickman and Johnston getting quicker, Harrison still improving etc etc. Can't wait.

RR » Ivan Lintin wins Gold Cup at Scarborough

Big congratulations to Ivan. I thought he would do it today. He's been getting quicker and quicker at The Mount over the past few years and I'm sure his regular appearances at the other smaller Scarborough meetings have given him the competitive edge today. It's a shame there were some top names missing today but a fantastic win nevertheless. You can only beat what's put in front of you.

Who was supposed to appear that didn't? I know they wanted both Michael Dunlop and Guy Martin back but I don't think they advertised either as a definite starters. So who are you referring to?? I was miffed last year when they advertised McPint as racing and he didn't turn up on the Saturday (which was the day I went). It's not really the organisers fault though - that was McPint's fault for putting sponsors first. Money talks in the end and punters end up short changed.
