WSBK » Sykes critical of impending rule changes

I like WSBK because of: 1) the variety of the field - different marques, different philosophies, different designs, different engines - V2, V4, inline 4, screamer, big bang... 2) I like the idea of taking 'stock' bikes, modifying them and then racing them while achieving lap times only marginally slower than full blown MotoGP prototypes (this is impossible in car racing - compare F1 vs GT or WTCC) 3) more relaxed and accessible riders, environment, paddock etc.. 4) multiple riders having chance to win - unlike in MotoGP, remember the battles at Silverstone or last year's Donington - what a sight it was! As far as Dorna keeps this, I'll be happy. Even better would be to see back some of the 'spirit of the past' when riders like Haga, Bayliss or Gobert were throwing the heavier electronicless bikes 'round corners, but those times are forever lost I guess...
