MotoGP » Lorenzo: One of the best races I've ever had

This is what Lorenzo should do....fight...Marc has pushed them into a tight corner at the point of desperation and they know they have to fight with Marc if they want to win.. This is why I like MM so much..he will push the riders to scrap if they want to win...like it or not...and this will make motogp more and more exciting... The next Rossi is here -- only upgraded and well oiled(as Rossi said himself)... Records should go for a hiding...MM is coming to break them all...lol..

Paul joiner, I agree with everything you said...and my previous comment concur that..but it offers no solution.(if you care to read).Rossi's got a mountain of them.. But I think..just maybe..Rossi should practice xtremely hard with a new tire and a full tank of gas..and just go around doing lap times on weekend practice except Q2...forget tire saving etc etc..take slight risk here and there...simulating a race for the first ten laps or so... It may not work for 1 0r 2 races but in the long run with enough practice it just might work...He's got nothing to lose now as far as the championship is concern..so why not?!! (I may fall flat on my face though but worth a try...) GO VALE!!!

@billace Heck..its also Rossi's job to win but he just cant because the bike was tailor made for Lorenzo to suit his style over a 2 year period.(that is breaking early and sweeping fast through the corners with a wider line). This is in complete contrast to Rossi's style of racing(i.e breaking as late as possible with a tighter line, and start accelerating mildly in mid corners to have a great pick up and already thinking about the next corner.). With this yamaha its xtremely difficult to do that..ironicaly the Honda is doing that at the moment.. But these are just the theories and should not be taken as gospel..

@uwang....I think as he got older..he isn't prepared to take risk in the earlier part of the races...at his age its only logical to cut the risk...he cant afford an injury and sit out for races anymore..rember he is no 2 now and he has to bring the bike home and score points to pliz his employers...DNF is not what YAMAHA wants.....Ben spies rember!! They dont want bin it or win it for a no 2 rider...

I find it hard to understand why Rossi is not able to stay with the top 3 guys in earlier part of races and than produce same lap times with the top 3 in the later part of the races...I just wonder what he can do if he could stay with the top 3 in the first ten laps or so.... Can someone give me a logical explanation...???!!..I dont think even Rossi knows.... By d way...wat a great race PHEWWW..
