MotoGP » MotoGP Star of the Year vote: 1st

For what its worth my opinion: VR was very lucky to be in with a shout. Why? 1) The Honda was a beast to ride this year 2)DP spent the first part of the year with a crap bike and had to recover from arm surgery 3) It took the first half of the year before MM managed to sort out his Honda so he could be competitive 4) JL was not fast on the Yam at the early part of the season neither This allowed VR to build up enough points to keep himself competitive until the end of the season, but in the end he was just not fast enough end of. Next year I reckon the Honda will be on the money but we will have to wait and see!

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi withdraws CAS appeal

Sparky62: I thought the days of deleting everything and anything that criticizes VR were over. For several months now I have managed to state my opinions without them being wiped by without explanation or reason. I posted the first opinion to this story and it was widely supported by the majority of crash readers and was not rude or derogatory. Yet it was deleted and all references to it deleted. If is just an extension of the Rossi fan club, let us all know so we don't waste our time.
I had a comment deleted too and all I said was good we can move on
I too had a post deleted that related to VR it was not rude or derogatory but at the time had a high hit rate for and against- makes you wonder what the agenda is

MotoGP » Casey Stoner leaves Honda

exloko: Harryx, that reminds me Bayliss 2006? Valencia (last) wildcard win...and probably one of just a few... Trummy200...i think Capirossi, Bayliss, Checa, Hayden, Dovi, did very well too, maybe not that extreme, but very good job
Thanks for referring to my little comment exloko - I thought I must have been dreaming that I had actually wrote it as its disappeared! For anyone confused by this- I simply stated that CS has been better than any other Duke rider and that includes VR Would love to see him on the Duke again - could even rejoin BT Sport to watch the races. Perhaps not thinking about it, would have to listen to those awful commentators they employ

MotoGP » ‘Time is a gentleman’ in Marquez, Rossi rift

I will let you into a little secret! Ever since racing began riders for what ever reason have helped fellow riders!. I used to frequent a race track clubhouse and heard all sorts of stories of who had 'helped' who. (Not that I am condoning it). But they are human beings, with human frailties, not robots! So its time to move on and to all Rossi fans - GROW UP. Whether MM helped JL or not I know not, but Rossi should have kept his mouth shut and not made a difficult situation worse.

MotoGP » Jorge Lorenzo is 2015 MotoGP champion!

trummy200: yes yes yes And I do not even like him
Just another 46 hater, you do not like 99 because he's wack. You just wanted to see 46 lose the championship and i respect that and I also like the fact that u know 99 is soft... He won only because mm helped him to.
VR bought it on himself at the press conference - He is ok dishing it out but appears to crack when things do not go his way. He got lucky at the beginning of the season when JL could not get the hang of the 2016 Yam. But honestly you have to admit that VR is not the fastest rider any more. Years ago when he had the best bike and poor opposition maybe. For Christ s sake even Haydon beat him to the title

MotoGP » Dovizioso: Only the rider knows

Yearby23: Totally agree with Dovi, you can't judge a bike and rider until you ride the bike yourself. I seem to remember a certain VR46 predicting a Ducati in 2010 and how it would handle before riding it, saying Stoner was the problem...Funny how he was completely wrong.
Yes and his chief mechanic stated it would take 80 secs to fix!
