F1 » Hamilton: Ferrari too fast for us today

2secondsperlap: richard I think that was more to do with Lewis getting an instruction over the radio and then the radio channel being inadvertently left open and Lewis hearing Paddy Lowe thinking aloud and thinking it was another instruction Lewis was not supposed to have heard that. That's where the confusion was.
so you are saying that merc have found a way to get instructions to lulu "legally"? just leave the airwaves open!
Richard, That was exactly my reaction at the time, "a way of letting the driver know what they intend to do without talking directly to him".
Remember " where there's a will, there's a way"
Of course I bow to your superior knowledge but I'm pretty sure your allowed to mention pitstops to the driver, just so that he knows your home when he pulls in. Unless it was code for sorry we wrecked your race LH just pretend we are compet

F1 » Malaysian Grand Prix - Race results

Great drive by Vettel and huge kudos to Ferrari.. But don't be naive, it was beautifully engineered by the marketing people at F1 and Mercedes after huge criticism of a one horse(sic) race.. I make it nearly a full minute Mercedes craftily handed to Ferrari. The hard tyre at the end when it should have been the soft worth over a second a lap over nearly 20 laps. The six seconds by keeping Ham out after his tyres were shot and the totally unnecessary pitstop after 2 laps. If you have the fastest car by some margin all you need to do is match the strategy of your competition, simples. Just who were Mercedes covering with that early pit stop they were in the lead?? Diabolical.. Very nice to see Vettel win but given the same strategy he would have been a mile back.

MotoGP » Ducati sets new standard for pole man Dovizioso

It's not just the tyres. Ducati have huge concessions on fuel, engines, testing etc. It is a joke, the whole world knows that neither dovi nor the ducati are good enough to be at the front. It is the equivalent of turning up to your sunday league matched and finding the manager of the opposition is the ref and he has allowed his team to play with 14 players whilst restricting your team to 8. To their team the sport seems fair and the end report makes no mention of it but to all intents and purposes the whole thing is a sham. Ducati.. They ruined wsbk in the 90s with concessions, which is why the ultra dominant Troy Bayliss was a slow moving chicane on the best motogp bike ever(RCV). They are ruining the sport for the factory teams, destroying it for the smaller teams. It is not ability engineering nor racing talent but about who has the greater concessions. Perhaps they will hand out a timpsons cobblers and key cutters with every victory.. Laughing stock.

MotoGP » Yamaha: We have two riders that can beat Marc

Destro: they have nothing without a bike capable of running with the Honda. They should still bring up other riders like Honda. They seem to play that game so much better.
The Yamaha pair were second and third, not third and fourth. They have outrun one of the Hondas all season. The other Honda is more of a problem, which suggests the rider made the difference.
Of course that is making massive assumptions, not least of which that Dani is as good as Rossi and Jorge...

F1 » ‘I don’t care’ if double points decides F1 title – Rosberg

Taipan: One of the first sensible things you've said on Crash, yes it has been pointed out many times that Lulu has attracted "football type fans" to F1, they're only interested in who they support, have no interest in the good of the sport, always despise anyone who gives their favourite a hard time and tend to boo the opposition.
You think you're good for the sport??
