WSBK » ‘Poor day’ scuppers Laverty podium expectations

I was thinking about potential moves for next year and what I came up with is as follows, It's been a disappointing year for Eugene and I believe he has only a 1 year contract and with the possibility of the Suzuki MOTOGP seat is looking less likely, I think he could be on the move and I think it's back to Aprilia in place of Guintoli. Eugene can win races on that bike whereas Guintoli, despite being consistent, wins very few races. Another on the way is Baz. Kawasaki won't want the tension with him and Sykes and Baz, despite being on the best bike,is yet to win a race. In his place will be Guintoli. By all accounts a nice guy so Sykes would approve of him as a team mate. Then again, I am probably completely wrong..

WSBK » Lowes battles through pain barrier for top ten

Fair play to Lowes ,not one complaint. He made a fantastic start from 3rd row of grid. In many ways he has more at stake that Sykes. He's trying to establish himself in WSBK whereas Tom is well established there I suppose Alex knows the shoe can be very quickly on the other foot. After all he did bring down Shane Byrne at a crucial stage last year in BSB I suppose that's racing for ya.

WSBK » ‘Big disaster’ for Laverty after double crash

he needs to qualify stronger and start better, if he qualified well and started ok he could run with the leaders and he has the craft then to win races, but he gets caught back in 10th place after 1st corner, desperate to get back to leaders and you're more likely to fall off then. His starts this year have been very poor, i think he has lost positions on all 6 starts he has made. I heard that the bike has a problem with a full fuel tank.

WSBK » Sykes takes WSBK lead to ‘great’ Assen

@ Tomco. RE: Wouldnt it be great if once or twice a year they could do a race like the imola 200 and mix the moto gp lot with the wsbk ... While we are dreaming what if you had such a race but each year it was sponsored by a different manufacturer and all the top motogp, wsbk, bsb, etc riders had the exact same bike that was exactly production spec, no mods whatsoever, straight off the showroom floor, even leave the wing mirrors on, same tyres obviously. Fill them with petrol and let them race. Now that would be interesting. Completely unattainable but nevertheless interesting
