MotoGP » Valentino Rossi: 2016 ‘year zero’ for MotoGP

herewego: Valentino has already raced on all sorts of different bikes, and is used to bikes with no or a lot less electronic aids, so is very adept at changing his riding style to suit. It is whether or not the younger riders who have always been supported by the amount of electronics on their bikes will be able to adapt to the changes needed. Some would say that there are a lot of riders who wouldn't be there if it wasn't for the amount of electronics on bikes these days, so it is going to be very interesting indeed !!.
Really? Well the moto2 machines as someone already pointed out have very few electronic aids. And even Rossi's NSR500 had a very sofisticated electronic engine control system that basically was a crude form of traction control. His V5 Honda was already a full on traction controled machine, and his M1 was for what i know the first bike to have GPS governed electronics! So if anything, he spent MORE time with electronic aids than Marquez has!

MotoGP » Marquez tips Pedrosa threat to 9-0 quest

KnowNothing: Exactly, and really who would rather him be an obnoxious arrogant prig about his success? The Lorenzo land stuff was bad enough, can you imagine what MM could cook up if he was that full of himself? If asked who would be his competition, would anyone rather he give the cameras a smug look and say "No one." ? Although he may be cooking up who might be his competition, at least he has some class and sportsmanship.
Yes we can imagine, think about Rossi celebrations, and threats to Gibernau... Really, i can't understand why Lorenzo land was "bad", yet some of the stuff Rossi pulled was a-ok...
