MotoGP » Rossi rues time lost on opening laps

martin.mm.108: as far as I've read, the guy got 1 chassis designed for him on his trip to japan prior to the start of the season, not 1 for each bike, but 1 chassis, he even said himself he has one bike that he has to take care of. do I think that Yamaha should listen to the guy? yes, not because I'm a fan because I'm not but because I have always felt that Lorenzo is a waste of time in GP the guy single handedly broke the M1 and rides in a style (corner speed lol) that has been dead since Schwantz, not only that but McCoy and Rossi buried it 14 years ago and there is Lorenzo. an anomaly that should never be....
That's a bunch of nonsense to diguise pure and irrational Hate for the man that made Rossi look "mortal" on the same bike.

martin.mm.108:
SkyWilk: I'm a fan of Lorenzo!!.
also not hate, but dislike, the guy represents way too many things wrong to me. constant whinin, conceit, sense of entitlement, moving backwards instead of forward.... if the guy would've signed for Honda who I am a huge fan of, and race with one, a couple of years back I seriously would've stopped watching the races, that other whiner (the rolling stoner) was hard to take but at least he never rode in a style that represented and involution to the 70s...
Ah yes, your hatred is visible indeed. But why don't you ask all the tech3 people in the last few years what they think of "Lorenzo's" bike, and how come they are always top sattelite team?...

Neckbeard: Where did I even mention Rossi? You mentioned "Tech 3" and I shared information from a recent interview with Goyon about their development direction. The direction they've taken with Yamaha Corporate's blessing is to suit emerging Moto2 riders. Anyways, 2yrs ago is a lifetime in racing. Lorenzo and his riding style with the current tires aren't a match for Marquez, period. If they've reached an evolutionary wall on the bike then the rider must adapt riding styles, which Lorenzo won't do.
And i tell you again, lorenzo has been asking for more stopping power for a long time, so who are you to say what he will or won't do??

Neckbeard: ...
Lorenzo has been hammering about the lack of braking stability for quite some time now. Besides, he said that he couldn't fight back because his tires were gone, so where exactly is that Lorenzo's fault?
The Yamaha uses it's tires differently than the Honda today and Lorenzo need only blame himself. Marquez may hit higher angles of lean, but Lorenzo spends more time leaned over on the tire edge. The end result is tire wear and braking stability issues.
Really? well the "alternative" style of Rossi seems to be even slower, so your point is...? And as far as i remember, just two years ago Lorenzo was world champion, and last year he was the rider with most wins despite missing races, so i don't see what you are on about, besides trying to slag off a rider.

Neckbeard:....
If you think stopping power is all about brembo, then i don't know why i am even discussing this with you... And by the way, you might have your opinions all you want, but why again are you criticizing Lorenzo in a Rossi thread...? And why don't you use those same arguments to explain us why Rossi was such a failure on top of that Ducati?
