MotoGP » Hayden talks Aspar Honda decision

RSMick, Just because I started watching in '99 does not mean that I haven't watched races that took place before then...As much as Dorna sucks right now, their streaming video package is pretty good! No way in hell Honda spends only $20M in MotoGP per year....That figure probably covers rider salaries, hospitality and umbrella girls. You are obviously an anti-Honda hater. I ride a Yamaha FZ1 and WR250r on the street. My race bike is an SV650...Judging by your attitude and post count, I bet you are too old and bitter to ride anything but a recliner with a keyboard.

MotoGP » Hayden talks Aspar Honda decision

RSMick, "I am reliably informed that Honda’s MotoGP budget for 2011 was in the region of $450 million whilst Yamaha scraped by with a mere $300 million. Heaven alone knows how much of Marlborough’s cigarette money Ducati have spent, but it will have been a galactically huge sum. By contrast, it is perfectly possible to go World Superbike racing, at a top level, for less than $10 million and to seriously participate for considerably less than this.." - Motorcycle USA article by Frank Melling Shuhei Nakamoto - "I have heard some rumours that BMW is already spending 15m Euro in World Superbike." - MCN article by Matthew Birt
