BSB » Shane Byrne crowned 2014 BSB champion

And rightly so, he's been superb this year. Glad he wasn't robbed by this doctored points nonsense, hopefully it will be binned off for next year. Special shout out to Kiyo though for pulling off possibly the most impressive comeback in modern day bike racing history, looking forward to seeing him back on it in 2015. I wonder what odds you would have got on him finishing this season's BSB runner up this time last year?

BSB » Kiyonari BSB title bid in doubt after crash

Kiyo has pulled off one of the most impressive comebacks I have ever seen this year and let's be honest without this shootout nonsense Shakey would already have his mitts on the title. Looking forward to seeing the rejuvenated Kiyo fully fixed and back on it again next season but unless the wheels fall off a certain Kawasaki the championship would appear to be done and dusted.

WSBK » Denning thrilled to lure de Puniet to Suzuki

Insidejob: Remember Carlos "Gravel Trap" Checa as he was affectionately known in his MotoGP days? Well he only had 2 wins from 194 starts in MotoGP but 24 wins from 150 starts in WSB including a championship. Don't count Randy out yet.
Yep, no one called him Charlie Chucker in WSBK did they? Randy would often throw away mid pack places in MotoGP clearly overriding uncompetitive machinery. If Suzuki can put a half decent bike underneath him in WBSK I wouldn't count him out either.

BSB » Brookes rules himself out of title hunt

That's the worst logic right fact it isn't even logic. That's like saying why do all cars not run diesel engines.....that's right cos they are ****e. You may not like the format but there is no doubt that Shakey would have this wrapped up if it was the old format. Now it's a 2....maybe 4 horse race, in my book that's far better entertainment value.
But this a professional motor racing series not The X Factor! If as you suggest that Shakey has already done enough to be the rightful 2014 champion then should he not have the crown?, surely it would be travesty if anyone else were to 'win' it? As for the 'it's the same for everyone' comments, yes it is, doesn't stop it making a mockery of the best 2 wheeled domestic racing series in the world IMHO.
