MotoGP » Moto2: Danny Kent to leave Tech 3

Team Sky (cycling) is a good example. The Tour de France or the Giro d' Italia & british cyclist were hardly ever on British Media when the likes of David Millar were doing really well. Sky saw an opportunity , put some money together, got together Wiggins and the best british cyclists, to create Team Sky. In a few years time they've become the strongest team in cycling and the results are there to see, winning the likes of 2 Tour de France... BT Sport should have done something similar in my opinion, and lost a great opportunity!? put some money together and create a british team , with the likes of Crutchlow, Redding... I'm sure Dorna would have done something (£ and factory support wise...) about it.

TalentFan, Thanks for ur insult, it says a lot about you... I only had a pop at the guys that moan about Dorna, I grew up in Spain by the way. Repsol (as spanish as bp & shell are british) is one of many. Mafre (an spanish insurance company, Aspars Moto3 and 2 teams). Calvo (a spanish canned tuna company similar to John West...) in Laglisse Moto3 , Vinales team. Tuenti (a Spanish twitter like web) and Los 40 (spanish radio station) in Pons... and many more... Same Pons team that used to have a massive sponsorship with Correos, the spanish post office... Remember Telefonica Movistar? they would still be in MotoGP if Pedrosa had been more loyal to them after they sponsored his whole career. Nothing comes out of the blue, read about the Movistar Cup (organized by Telefonica Movistar), Pedrosa, Elias, Bautista, Julian Simon all came from it.

I'm sick of you brits complaining about Dorna and Ezpeleta, and it's about time you start looking at yourselfs!! Where are british sponsors, teams? There are more Dutch and Swiss teams than British ones... is there any english team in Moto3 or Moto2? Those races are as good as they can get. Gino Rea and Kent not in good machinery? Where are the british teams or sponsors to support them? Spain is completely bankrupt but the spanish teams manage to get sponsors and their teams sorted? All Moto3, Moto2 and MotoGp races are live on the main channels (likes of BBC1 or ITV) in other countries, no red button or online cr*p ike with the BBC. Get your teams with good riders, and nurture them from Moto3 to MotoGp? Scott Readind is leading the Moto2 championship, how many british sponsors has he got? Do you see any mention of him in the likes of the Times, Independent , Guardian, or even Daily Mail, Sun or TalkSport radio?

MotoGP » 65 riders sign-up 2014 Moto2, Moto3

Why is there so little support from British companies, why dont BP,Shell, BT sponsor British riders/teams? RBS sponsored Williams for years, the cost to sponsor a MotoGp team/rider would be 50 times lower... Would love to know how much support the main british riders like Crutchlow, Redding or Smith get from British companies... Close to zero I would say... Look at Michael Laverty, he gets an interview in every qualifying and race (at prime time?) , yet his cap is blank...?
