MotoGP » Smith hails maiden MotoGP front row

It was great to see Smith being one of the forerunners, and have a good qualifying, but he really should have refrained from commenting about the Factory Yamaha riders. In all due respect, both of them are former World Champions! One is already a legend in the sport, so they know what they are talking or ranting about! A bit of humility especially when you have won nothing yet, goes a long way Smith..!

MotoGP » Lorenzo: Open class has too much advantage

I do not disagree with what Lorenzo has to say, but what I feel is that, Bridgestone has come up with a tyre which is not to the preference of the top riders. Especially the Yamaha guys! Jorge seem to be on the brink of tears when he was still 11th, and it was a great effort to pull in to top 10. Again, it was puzzling, that the all the satelite riders seem to do much better than the factory ones, maybe the testing did help them a great deal. While it is enjoyable to see the other underrated riders being in the mix, Aleix Esp, Alvaro and Dovi, it is also disheartening to see the top 4 of last year being handicapped, and as such is not a true indication of the riders' ability as well. Yes they have had advantages up till last season, but now I think they have been twisted way too much. I could see changes happening, if the results of this race shows a major upset.

MotoGP » Lorenzo: It's impossible to be competitive

I think JLO has his work cut out for him. The tyres seem to be against him, I'm sure he didn't see this one coming. I really hope he can pull something out of the hat! Although most dislike his personality, his riding talent is immense. I remember when he wanted the M1 to change, and was asked to adapt to the bike, and after getting to the bike's characteristics now, he has to get used to a harder tyre. Let's see how this all turned out to be..but JLO, you got your work cut out!

MotoGP » Lorenzo wins, but Marquez crowned world champion

Lorenzo is the guy everyone used to hate, I guess he has atleast won the respect of the majority of his critics. Yes, he has done some very aggressive moves today, but knowing what was on stake, he did what he had to do. He also gave some to Marc, in the previous outings, but in the end, it was nice to see him congratulate Marc, who deserved it in the end. It has been a fantastic 2013 season.

MotoGP » Valencia MotoGP - Race Results

@ Bozzo, it sounds a bit crude, but I agree with you that Rossi just did not want to help Lorenzo..! Now, I think about it, perhaps, in Motegi too, he could've purposely ran wide! And no, I am not insulting the 9-time champion, but seriously, it is not good for Yamaha to keep a non team player, who has pretty much gone off his sell-by date..! Looking at the crowd reaction, I think maybe some Rossi fans' have jumped ship to Marquez's side..!
