MotoGP » MotoGP Japan - Race Results

beastinblack: Marquez could have won be he did the smart thing, he wanted to be champ as soon as possible. Now we will see the real fighter for the remainder. Stop that pathetic lorenzoland flag and break some more records!!
Ahh..nice to see you. Thought you said JLo will never win another race..? Won 2 on the trot now.. And, how dumb does that Samurai celebration seem?

MotoGP » Marc Marquez is 2014 champion, Lorenzo wins Motegi

Goodness me..the amount of hero-worship here is unbelievable! Marc has just won the title, and yes it is a back-to-back, tough one to achieve, just enjoy it lads..why the need to slag other riders?! JLo had his worst year in GP, having a range of issues from fitness, to tyres, to contract, to electronics and mosquitoes (lol)! His head was just not right, he was conceding defeat far too easily earlier this year. Now, at least, he looks much better. Rossi has had a much improved season, and did well to bring the fight to the Repsols. Hope he continues in this form.. Dani, well, his mentor is no longer beside him, and only kicks in the latter part of the race, and sometimes is just way too back to make any moves. I think Yamaha has improved in the 2nd half, and Honda has simply taken the foot off the gas for this year's bike and started work on the next year's bike (according to the BT guys)

MotoGP » MotoGP to remove artificial grass, reconsider flag-to-flag

Removing the artificial grass is good. But at the same time, Iannone crashed on the real grass. Maybe a rethink on the whole running out wide thing? The flag to flag, should not be disturbed though. The brains over brawn factor makes the races alot more interesting, as witnessed in the last race. Or do Repsol Honda need some assistance in making the call for bringing in their riders?!

MotoGP » Rossi: Fight for second ‘getting interesting’

TalentFan: The changing of bikes now with all the electronics has enabled more liberties to be taken by riders, which we can call a change of style if you like. Rossi & the older guys who cut their teeth on bikes and tyres that required more direct input and much less technical safety net have had to try to unlearn the things that kept them as fast as possible but still on the seat & not in orbit. So it's not really possible to say for certain that the Rossi of 2005 would beat the Marquez of 2014. However... IF they were riding 2005 bikes then the odds of Marquez being beaten ( or crashing his brains out trying to ride such a bike like he does his current one) are much higher IMO. This is not me being pro Rossi & anti Marquez. It's just a reasonable observation. A lot has changed in MotoGP since it's inception.
Absolutely agree with the above! This was a point I made earlier this year and got shot down by fools!
