F1 » Vettel: I’ll miss Webber rivalry

I've only seen Webber push Vettel in 2010, he got murdered in 2011 by 135 points even though driving the same car as Vettel and finished behind Jenson even though he was driving the brilliant RB7 which for me is the best of Red Bull racing cars maybe apart from the current RB9, and in 2012 Vettel finished 102 points in front of Webber and even as the new kid on the block at RBR in 2009 Webber could not test Vettel. The only thing Vettel will miss is not being able to make Mark look second best by a mile at Red Bull.

F1 » McLaren youngsters 'deserve F1 chance'

True words Firestorm, Mclaren should be given credit for their policy on young drivers, 2007 was the best introduction to F1 as far as a young driver maybe ever and if these two up and coming drivers do get there chance lets hope if they are half as successful as the 2007 young driver then they will cement their place in the team. Think Perez may be more of a challenge for JB next year and he has youth on his side.

F1 » Webber: Leaving F1 the best move

Tough one but I think I agree with Brundle . Vettel is about to take the bend and at that time Vettel is in the middle of the track with Bruno's car 3/4 of the way along side Vettel I agree with Ptolemy when he says that Vettel was taking a line taken by the drivers in front of him but the fact is Bruno was along side Vettel and should not have taken that line because Bruno was there this meant Vettel drove into Senna. It was for Vettel to leave that space for Bruno if Bruno was behind Vettel then Vettel could have taken that line and then Bruno would have had to of backed off.

F1 » Webber: Leaving F1 the best move

9 wins in the Newey super cars? I believe there are drivers out there who would get a better return driving those cars. And its not about F1 fans doing better than Webber to be able to comment on a drivers skills its more about F1 fans watching and comparing F1 drivers against each other and Webber driving some of the best cars in F1 since 09 and only getting 9 wins means for me he has underachieved in a super car and fans are entitled to point that out without his fanboys from south of the equator getting the hump and coming up with silly comments about F1 fans needing to have taken part in F1 to have any credibility when commenting on a driver who was clearly well behind his teammate regards driving skills hence that driver being favoured.

F1 » Brawn targets ‘big effort’ to regain second spot

Thepain, agree about the strongest line up but not on paper. Nico/Lewis v Alonso/Kimi Nico would be the weak link all though I think he is has good as the rest on his day. As for Red Bull like most this season the cars mechanical and aero package has been hindered by trying to save fragile tyres but since the introduction of the new combined compound the RB9's mechanical and aero potential has come into reality and his just far superior to the rest. The RB9 driven by Vettel or any top driver would to much for the rest.

F1 » Brawn targets ‘big effort’ to regain second spot

If Mercedes do get 2nd in the WCC it will be mammoth effort considering the talk was about them finishing in the midfield in 2013. For me the arrival of Lewis has installed a new air of confidence at Mercs which is causing the engineers and co to push with the cars development as they must know the advantage in having a driver who is just raw regards talent and will drive through any quirks thus helping them to push even harder with the W04, the same for Nico as well who has lifted his game to higher level since the arrival of Lewis from Mclaren. Two top drivers bringing an inconsistent car in race mode into play regards the WCC.

F1 » Webber: Leaving F1 the best move

definitely a good move from Webbs to Leave Red Bull it is obvious the team favours Vettel which was highlighted a the multi 21 incident when Newey who I have so much respect for was hovering around Vettel and laughing and talking with him pre the podium but had no time for Webber even though Seb was in the wrong. That must of hit home for Mark when your cars designer is seemingly taking sides.

F1 » Massa: ‘More perfect’ Alonso better than Schumacher

@ jamm22 ,as I have said I don't believe Massa has any axes to grind with either driver and is just giving what I believe is a credible view regards the two mentioned drivers. If Schumacher did come out with comments regards Massa and Barrichello in favour of Rubens then I would expect Massa not to take it very well after all like most sports persons he is a competitor, but I would expect him to deal with any comments in a professional manor.
