F1 » Kimi: I’m sure we’ll have many happy days

Last year's Ferrari wasn't good and so 2014 is irrelevant. Kimi's made a few too many mistakes this year, but has also been unlucky (disadvantaged from factors he does not control). I'm sure Ferrari have a formula to measure drivers based on all racing factors, and Kimi is certainly among the top and hasn't lost the ability to race hard. Without another available driver who is the next coming of Senna, he's the best driver fit. Throw in his popularity and the timing of Bottas's contract w/Williams ending, and it's a no-brainer to re-sign him.

F1 » Webber: The right time to stop

I laugh when I hear, "Webber gets the same equipment as Vettel." Clearly this has not been the case in instances in the past, and while I'd normally consider cases where one driver's car constantly breaks down compared to his teammate that it's a driver difference... but when it's your KERS or alternator? As if Webber is pressing the KERS button wrong so that it breaks? I'm not suggesting a conspiracy, but bias and effort are heavily on Vettel's side of the garage at RBR - he wins championships, after all.

F1 » F1 points to adopt ATP approach?

Some races worth more than others? Stupid idea. If you want to make it interesting, get rid of qualifying and make the starting order the reverse of the points standings: to win the championship, you have to start last. Tied drivers do a coin flip to see who's in front. (OK, that's fairly stupid too, but at least it'd make for interesting races, not snore-fests like we've got now.)
