F1 » Caterham F1 on the brink as buyers threaten to pull out

Taipan:
CaterhamFan1: Actually, my account isn't a joke. I'm genuinely a huge fan of Caterham, and to me the backmarker battles are often more important than the championship battles. It'll be absolutely devastating to me if Caterham go under.
I know your account isn't a joke and I know you are a real fan of the team and as such I am sorry for you that your team seem to be up sh*t creek.
I appreciate that, Tai. People don't seem to realise that these inconsequential backmarker teams have real, dedicated fans just like any other team does. I just wish I could've made it to a race to actually see them in person.

If your connected with the brand I can understand that, I hope the car firm survives, it deserves to. As for the team, considering the hardware the had in last years car they have seriously underachieved. This year has been hard to watch and the last few months have been a face. Companies in the UK and further afield will lose millions when the team goes under.
Is it a crime to be a fan of a team? No. I threw myself behind this team when they first joined in 2010 as Team Lotus. I wanted a team to fully support, and I chose them. Now, in only their 5th season, my favourite team, the team I'm devoted to, is going under. Is it such a bad thing that this upsets me?

CaterhamFan1: Well, this is it. I'm getting myself ready for the inevitable now.
What a new user name? :p
Well I wouldn't change it to Haas F1 :p

FE » Beijing ePrix - Race results

sodesu: Well yeah, but if your head hits the barrier it doesn't matter how safe the chassis is. Reckon this could, and should, be the end of the sausage kerbs...
This is the second race recently where a car has been absolutely launched by one if the kerbs, so hopefully that's the case; but remember, this is the FIA we're talking about...
