F1 » Magnussen set to be revealed by Renault on Wednesday

Omega: @kevpmc Saying the Magnussen didn't get a fair shot in his first stint in F1 is a bit disingenuous. He got a FULL season in a McLaren, no less, and while he did OK, was out scored by his team mate by over 100%. Clearly his didn't DESERVE to stay over Button, who comprehensively beat him, and I'm not sure anyone would take him over Alonso. So how exactly did he not get a fair shot???
I agree with you when you say that it was a fair shot but Button didn't out score him at all... I just want to say that a rookie beat him by 10-9 in qualification area... Button is a world champion so it's not a surprise that he had a better race craft to score more on sunday that Magnussen. So IMO, it was a better call to keep magnussen than button but after all they just wanted an old and calm guy to developp the car who accept as a champion to earn half the amount of money his teammate do...

F1 » Alonso hints at Ferrari Le Mans entry

I really enjoyed the 24h, the night part is so particular with no lights excepts cars' one. I never get the point of having night racing in F1 with circuit brightly lit like football stadium. Sad for Toyota and Porsche, I am quite fed up of the Audi's dominance at 24h. Interesting that Porshe has a similar ERS that we have in F1 with heat and breaking RS instead of only breaking like others and it worked 22h ! WEC could be a good bridge to F1 for them in the future.

F1 » Haas wants Patrick in F1 team

What an arrogance ! Even Ferrari is criticized by Briatore for not being based in UK but Italy and this guy is coming and say seriously that he'll have a US base... Amazing of stupidity. And what to say about Danica, like said others, just look at her age ! The age Webber quit F1 ! I wish he'll change his mind 'cause I really want to see what americans are capable of (they have a culture of powerful and imposant cars) but the way it goes, the carrots are cooked as we say in France.

F1 » Boullier: Driver line-up not a priority

kikiriki: My guess is that Macca will keep Button for at least one more year (Honda likes Button and probably they will have somethng to say about it). I beleive Macca will give Button a contract which will be dependent on his performance (due to his age). As for Alonso... that's a looooong shot. How can RD bring Alonso when he's still in search for main sponsor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He wouldn't bring Santander at McLaren ?
