MotoGP » Espargaro: Looks like anything goes on last corner...

I like MM, I think he brings a lot of excitement to the mix and if one's a motorcycle fan of any kind you just have to like Valentino so I'm trying to be objective about it. I think the final verdict was the necessary Salomonic conclusion to it all. Mark made a valid attempt at the only place possible, I think his aggression in this case is fully justified because there was a gap, I don't understand what all the fuss is about , but Vale was always going to have the upper hand in that turn. Him going wide was the only thing he could do to win the race so no harm done. This is racing people, what would you have a rider with a valid attempt at a pass do, settle for 2nd? Quite frankly, as a fan, I'd much rather have it this way, when i want it easy I watch snooker.

MotoGP » Marquez: Today was Jorge's day

I don't think the race was boring, I like bikes and it was a pleasure to see Espargaro there at the beginning, Cal battling it out, Rossi putting Marquez under pressure again and what to say about Lorenzo? He was sublime in those corners, talk about poetry in motion. If all that you have to contribute here is saying that it was boring why bother at all? Scary when Marquez says that he was struggling with the bike in the straights, when you think that these guys go faster in the corners than I do in the motorway!

MotoGP » Rossi: Marquez made a mistake

Chill out people, Who said that Vale purposely hits MM's fron wheel? I certainly didn't. What I'm trying to make people see here is that Vale righted the bike earlier than he would have in normal circumstances wanting to close the door, simple as that. If you can't see that it's because you don't want to. It was MM's fault that he ran into him,not Vale's. MM should have known better and was out of control in that action.

Rosi deliberately righted the bike a tad sooner that he would have done in normal circumstances. MM in the same place, would have done the same. Vale knows he's not going to fall doing that, it's the one behind who's more likely to go down unless he's side by side, which he wasn't (MM). This is racing not snooker. MM needs to learn that Vale is just as ruthless, if not more, than he is.

After having seen the fall many times I can see that Valentino, although he doesn't know where MM is and doesn't want to make him fall, of course, does bring up the bike unexpectedly sooner than the turn, he does this sensing that MM is right behind him and wanting to close to door to the impending left turn. Watch the video with a neutral mind, if you can, and see how quickly Vale's bike goes up much sooner than it's supposed to... the old fox isn't as 'innocent' here as everybody is painting him

The 'old' master teaches a great lesson to the youngster, I hope MM learns from it with humility, this is how we mature in life. Thank you Vale for your amazing talent. Honda have to ask themselves if it was just a tyre issue or something else, it isn't normal how fast Vale caught up on him - regardless of how good Vale is (since he couldn't do it in previous years). I think we can now expect an all-out 'war' for what's rest of the championship. Well done to Cal too, shame he had to spoil it with his unfortunate display at the finish line.. another one that needs manning up. Amazing championship, it's shaping up as if it's for Vale to lose from now on.
