MotoGP » Marquez: Lorenzo’s speed vs. Rossi’s experience

Painless: Lorenzo has a headspace, and in that space he is Mantequilla. He even has it etched into his levers. When the weather is right, the tyres are right and Lorenzo is in his zone, he sets a blistering pace that is very hard to beat. But that means that kryptonite can be lurking anywhere. Rossi, on the other hand, makes the best of what he has, but needs the planets to align to get on the the front row. Game on!
Lets hope all the planets will be aligned for Rossi

MotoGP » Cecchinello: I was nervous when I saw Jack behind Cal…

Mike G: Rain is the great equalizer and shows true talent. I don't think the speed Miller was showing was talent but was more inexperience and/or lack of fear of a motogp bike and/or Bridgestone tires in the wet. Had he sustained that pace the entire race and finished in the Top 5, I would drink the koolaid regarding his talent. But alas, it ended as I expected. In comparison, Petrucci showed the speed and sustained it and to a lesser extent Hayden showed his talent by finishing almost 19 seconds ahead of the next Open Rider. I'm sure that last comment will get me quite a few 'Disagrees'.
Agree, too bad Hayden can not get good result when he was having a better bike.

MotoGP » Rossi wins dramatic wet British GP

justPeople: Wow lets have a race on hurricane :)
We did. Indianapoils 2008. It was the leftovers of a hurricane Obviously as Indy is nowhere near the coast but it was the most trecherous conditions I've ever seen for A MotoGP race. The Doctor won it. . Question, how many of you Rossi fans out there pretty much held your breath until mm crashed? I know I did! And even still the bike looked so loose I was nervous till he crossed the line.
You love Rossi too much Mr. Vegas, relax a little bit. It could be bad for your heart rate.

MotoGP » Rossi: 12 points to Lorenzo, but Marquez ‘very far’

madh4tt3r: Marquez was not over the limit in this race, go watch the replay of his bike.. it just flung him off while he was OFF the throttle..the Honda this year ....
you mean like when Dani was off the throttle and he took an injury in 2013 (Germany)? What I saw was MM thinking he could correct a mistake by changing the angle of his front wheel because his rear wheel was sliding. Of course I only saw like 1 second before he went off. Nothing wrong with that bike, MM just doesn't have the chops to run in the wet with out making mistakes and the only thing keeping him safe in the dry are the 2014 bike and the bridgestone slicks. Dude makes mistakes left and right, lots of them, but he's got the grip on those tires to keep trucking and holding the line. In the wet, he dumps it almost regularly or runs off track. Nothing interesting about watching someone make mistakes over and over again and still have the pace to own everyone else. [\b
