WRC » Hirvonen announces retirement from WRC

I agree with you Dafydd, Mikko could of been a multiple WRC champion if it was not for a certain Citroen powered French driver (and his name sake VW powered successor) being so damn good at the same time. Mikko put it to them and pushed them all the way, a valliant effort. Mikko is a genuinely nice guy who has always beena great ambassador for the sport. Best of luck with whatever future endevour you choose Mikko. Thanks for the great entertainment over the last 13 years, it has been a blast!

MotoGP » Redding: Winning memories, weather concern

I am sure that Scott will get his head down, work hard and ride the bike to the best of his and the bikes abilitys. What ever the weather. Its not a class winner just yet. (Come on Honda, Help the customers out to close the gap) Yes Nicky is the bench mark of the customer Hondas but dont I think he should become fixated on him. Keep it rubber side down, finish the race, get a few points, gain the experience. There are many years ahead.. Good luck Sunday. Steve

WRC » Mikkelsen: We couldn't have done more

DafyddLarcombe I agree completely. Andreas is still learning at this level and Volkswagen is the perfect place to perfect his skills. As long as he keeps his head and keeps the car rubber side down for sure he will be a future title contender. As you said, Volkswagen have it fully sorted in the WRC, Two world class drivers and a 3rd up and coming world class driver to fill in as the situation requires. I just hope it does not become total domination of the sport and 'boring' Steve
