MotoGP » Qatar MotoGP - Free Practice (3) Results

Part of interview conducted in 2012 Why are there such differences in MotoGP? What would you do to even things up? Randy: Lorenzo, Pedrosa and Stoner have the support of the factories, they have the best bikes on the grid and a good team behind them. They also ride with a level of total confidence which, added to the fact that they are incredible riders, makes a big difference. The difference between the factory bikes and the rest of the field is huge, but it is logical that the best riders have the best machinery. We will have to wait until 2014, when supposedly we will all have the same electronics package. Aleix: For me it is clear that Jorge, Pedrosa and Stoner have something more than the rest. But it isn’t as much as you see on the track. There is a big difference in bikes and with electronics, so when this evens up the races will be much more fun there will be more equality. MotoGP » Lorenzo: It feels like no traction control

Jon464646: @ TalentFan - Playstation generation Im afraid :( If I was head of Dorna / FIM /FIA there would be no aids at all. Period, Full Stop. Let the rider / driver be in full control. I find it mad that kids go through the junior ranks (on bikes and in cars) learning throttle control, polar moments, left foot braking, candense braking, reverse steering and all manner of other techniques. Only for them to get to the higher reaches of the sport, and find that they need a masters degree in computer tech to work the bloody machines!! Some of the best racing Ive seen has been old cars and bikes. Why? Because the operator was in full control and not a computer...rant over.
That sounds good but that's only for small old bikes, these bikes would be unrideable without aid. Less aid yes, no aid I'm afraid that's impossible.

MotoGP » Espargaro sticking with Yamaha frame

V4Poweeeer: I don't blame Espagaro at all what were ftr gonna do anyway rock up with an M1 chassis with ftr branded on the side of it. I've been saying it all along Colin is a test rider and a fast one at that, the proof is in the pudding. He wants to test as much as he can the good and the bad. He accepts that he isn't anywhere near those young guys, it doesn't mean that he has no place on the grid what so ever though. Plus he doing what he loves so give the the guy a break and let him do some more interviews or give him a job as an interviewer/commentator in the future I'd pay to watch that.
