F1 » Lauda backs calls to make F1 ‘riskier’

gullyraker: Great words from Niki Lauda! Way past the time when the drivers driving skill is more important than :button pushing", Fuel & brake saving.Lets have REAL racing & not young computer gaming drivers! These so called great words are nothing more than wards from this great old fart. When this here new technology formula with all its gizmos and push buttons was being formulated to replace the previous one this great old fart’s team was not only part of its formulation but with the other manufacturer out of the three that now-a-day is screaming for a change in rules, at the time he was saying that for his team to remain in the sports it depends on this technology replacing that before it. MotoGP » Honda launches MotoGP road bike

Dutch69Camaro: @SoSlo: You're right, it is an awesome bike for those who know what it is. It's not a road bike at all but a true MotoGP machine that can legally be driven on public roads. The ridicoulous price tag is justified by the use of the best available suspension, wheels etc. The front fork alone would buy you a nice car! Honda used a trick to get it road legal with te kit. In "as sold" trim it is probably legal in most places in the world (is there a catalyc converter?). But after fitting the kit it probably isnt anymore. I am a Yamaha man but this is something i would not mind owning! Does the engine have the same bore/stroke as the racer?
It has a bore of 81mm which is the maximum for Motogp so fairly sure to be the same.
