MotoGP » CoW secures Aviva backing, delays MotoGP until 2018

locky: It smells as fishy as it gets, 6000 jobs in the middle of where, given how many racetracks already exist and struggle close to cities, think Mallory, Rockingham, to name but 2? And being blessed by Dorna is rather like being blessed by dodgy geezers in suits. It's very sad to see the British Grand Prix reduced to a comic sideshow at a non-existent racetrack in the boonies-Hailwood, Sheene, Ivy, and many more must be weeping in heaven.
Hailwood and Bill Ivy would have loved to have seen a purpose built grand prix standard track on the UK mainland instead of racing the TT and bleak Dundrod. The British Grand Prix of their era.

WSBK » Rookie Abraham still adapting from MotoGP

Braap:
Yossarian: He's been riding full race bikes since he was about twelve, might never have even sat on a road bike before.
From a recent interview: Crash.net: Which bikes do you ride at home? Karel Abraham: I've got a Ducati Diablo and Honda Hornet but now I'm riding a Honda I've also got a CBR600 and I'm hoping to get a Fireblade
That's pretty good, ought to have a BMW soon too then, there'll be a few shocks at Brno track days.

MotoGP » Ducati benefit from Open ECU effort

ZeFrenchAngle: 8 Ducati bikes ! Stunning. From a struggling manufacturer a few years ago, and now, with the benefit of the investment from Audi, running over a third of the grid. It will be fascinating to see how they manage them all, particularly when there are unexpected early season surprises like Petrucci being the top official rider so far, and the test rider, Casey Stoner, miles in front of the official riders ....
Pramac Aspar and Avintia do pay quite a lot to lease their bikes.

MotoGP » Rossi: I think Stoner wants to race

Aussie68: I for one really hope Casey will return to racing full time again on the Ducati for many reasons. firstly he is NOT Spanish which is a great thing, we all saw how the Spaniards teamed up last year against Rossi and to be honest I am still amazed/disgusted it was allowed to occur in such an obvious and blatant way, then as an Australian it would be great to have a countryman to cheer for again, if htis first test by Casey is anything to go by then I am sure he will bring Ducati their first win, and did I mention he wasn't Spanish?! half the field in motogp is Spanish, major sponsors are spanish, spain holds more races than any other nation including the final round and Dorna is a spanish company.... motogp is meant to be an international sport, not a spanish stitch up.
Do you not think Motogp would be in a very poor state without the Spanish for very reasons you mention. Frankly it would fade away if it had to rely on input from the colonies
