Italian motorcycle magazine Motosprint is reporting fresh stories of Jorge Lorenzo possibly linking up with Ducati Team for the 2016 MotoGP season. There is no reported firm offer from the company at present, however, with Lorenzo believed to be re-negotiating with Movistar Yamaha MotoGP for an option of one more year (which is believed to be against the wishes of a two-year deal from Yamaha’s Lin Jarvis). This could allow Lorenzo to be free to join Ducati from the start of 2016, with the two-time premier class World Champion having a close relationship with Ducati’s Gigi Dall’Igna, with whom he first worked when he rode a Derbi 125 bike.

kenfaustus: The fact is that Rossi is handing JL's @@@ass in a big way despite that the bike built to suit Lorenzo's style for a number of years now. His excuses are simply that: excuses. Interesting is that Lorenzo is hardly popular in Spain and most motorcyclists are pleased to see him lose. He is known as "chulenzo" (a word play of cocky) for a number of years - even since he was a kid for his cockyness , arrogance, presumptuous and poor attitude when losing. It is has not helped to mimic Rossi - who has a huge spanish fan base - to further alienate GP fans - especially the ones that actually ride. The past couple of years Lorenzo has tried to polish up his image, but most fans don't believe it. It hardly helps that news leaks of his garage tantrums when things go sour - especially as of late (with the tyre issue).
i watch motogp for riding skill not popularity and personality.

MotoGP » Marquez beats Lorenzo in epic Mugello battle I'm a Honda fan, and I can see that Honda has the better package. I mean overcooking the brakes and having the controlled acceleration to not fishtail out or wheelie is not a skill, having the power under braking with the smaller brakes?? it's obvious the electronics are leaps and bounds better than the rest. this is no disrespect to MM I like the kid but it's obvious to me the RC213V more than makes up for his mstakes.

Braking very hard and then in the middle of the corner they are very slow, but in acceleration they go away and you are there still trying to get grip. honda have loads of torque at the bottom end and a advance ECU to help rider with trottle control. so even if you are not smooth on the trottle, the ECU will smooth it out for you.

“So our strategy was to overtake on the straight with the slipstream. by MM". i dont realy call that a strategy when you can over power somebody on a straight. i call that engine advantage. they might have similar horsepower but the honda engine is very torquey. even using a long sixth gear and being able to catch up quickly on the straights. watch the qatar battle against rossi.
