MotoGP » Ducati Open or Factory? The wait continues…

We all have our view regarding this Factory 2 class, some agree with it, some against it, some supporting Ducati, some critial of Ducati, some Honda, some the open class teams etc etc. But it seems from reading the articles and comments, we all consider the late consideration and maybe application of new rules is ridiculous. The powers to be have allowed a situation that should never have happened to create friction amongst the teams and the supporters. So lets show them that we, the supporters, the paying customers who go to watch races or watch on telly, how dissappointed we are by not showing up at the first Motogp and turning our tellies off as a form of protest.

F1 » Vettel reprimanded over donut celebrations

Why are the FIA so out of touch with their customers, that is we the ones who pay to go and watch at the circuits or on tv. It seems that F1 is a sport where humans, that is the drivers and us spectators are of no real concern to them. And drivers expression of their success has to be confined so they look like dummies, as at the after race interviews. The 6 driver interviews on tv are no better. A burn out such as Vettel gave more cheers for the fans than anything FIA has done. Well done Vettel. And also, why are you, FIA so quick at handing out fines, 25,000 euros to someone that did not commit a crime ????

MotoGP » Shinji Aoki (Bridgestone) - Q&A

"motogp, moto2 and moto3 world championships". I fail to see how it is a world championship when manufactures are restricted from entering. At present there is restrictions of only one tyre manufacturer in all the 3 classes and one engine manufacturer in moto2. Maybe soon it will be restricted to riders from one select country also!!! Why is a world championship not open to all manufacturers who want to take part. This one tyre supplier goes against the spirit of world championship.

MotoGP » Lorenzo wins, Marquez black flagged - VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS

I do not understand, this is the first ever pit stop race and yet they have a rule regarding disqualification for incorrect lap pitting. Where is this rule listed? And, was this infringement more serious that the Silverstone incident where the penalty was just 2 points. Also the disqualification was an end result to the pit stop shambles. And this was due to an even more serious infringement by Bridgestone not providing suitable tyres. So did they get any form of reprimand? Honda lost points resulting from the sensor cable recently, why were Bridgestone not penalised for their many tyre failures. However, I am relieved that no rider stumbled when changing bikes. It is a crazy idea and hopefully never to be repeated. We should not have a situation as in F1 where a race can be won or lost in the pits. Keep the racing on the circuit.
