MotoGP » MotoGP announces control ECU from 2016

@Shamarone The teams would have to adapt as they always have. The chassis manufacturers would adjust the geometry/stiffness and flexibility of their products as required and the tuning company that would be paid by dorna would pay the manufacturers for a supply of engines. If a tuning company offers a motorcycle manufacturer an appropriate value for "x" amount of engines then they will produce them accordingly. If Honda said no more engines for Geomoto then Geomoto, DORNA and a motorcycle manufacturer would quickly find a deal that would result in the continuation of the Moto2 class. These people are professionals who would not result in blind panic at the loss of a specific customer, it wouldn't even surprise me if Geomoto/DORNA have a contingency plan and a financial budget should the current supply of engines end.
