F1 » Axed Caterham staff hit back at team

End of the road for Caterham I guess. If and when the FIA steps in to this legal mess, there'll be no more cash left after paying the ex-staff their dues. I feel terrible for Kamui. He should've never cut his Ferrari connections to return to F1 as a backmarker and it doesn't look like he'll get another shot at F1. With Honda making their return I can only hope that they take him under their wing and put him behind the wheel of a McLaren but even that looks unlikely seeing as he's an ex-Toyota driver. If only he could somehow get into a competitive midfield team like Force India or Williams...

F1 » Mercedes fire knocks Hamilton out of Q1

EDIT by CRASH.NET! Quoted offensive post has been removed. please do not respond to this trolling. That's borderline manslaughter. Do you realize how ridiculous you sound now? By that logic, Mercedes are paying Hamilton 16 million quid a year just so they can blow him up. Are they terrorists now? Man. They must want Rosberg to win the WDC so much that they make their Lulu's car a bomb on wheels, right?

F1 » Mercedes fire knocks Hamilton out of Q1

Greg Campbell1: So, some of you truly believe that Merc is intentionally wrecking Lewis' car? Really?!
You really believe that Lewis topping every free practice and then mysteriously having to retire from every QP is coincidental? Really?!
I hope you realize that breaking down one of their cars intentionally will hurt their chances in the WCC. Lulu conspiracy theorists will think up anything nowadays.

F1 » Lotus keen to keep Grosjean

Grosjean needs to get out of Lotus, fast. He's simply wasting his time at a team which may not even make the grid next year. He's got an inconsistent loudmouth for a teammate and his team's running out of cash. He, Valterri Bottas, Nico Hulkenberg and maybe even Kobayashi can be future champs if given the opportunity to drive for top teams. With their dire finances, I wouldn't be surprised if Lotus promoted Charles Pic back into a race seat.

F1 » Lotus confirms Maldonado for 2015

Not surprised by this, frankly. Sauber and Lotus look to be the two teams that are really on the brink. My guess is that McLaren are going to let go of Button for Grosjean because, interestingly enough, I read that Hulk wants to stay put at FI for next year which would make sense, given the unpredictable outcome of the Honda engines. I wonder if Merc engines will really help Lotus in the end, since one of their drivers is far from good. It may be wishful thinking... but perhaps, a Lotus drive for Kamui is on the cards?
