MotoGP » Hometown celebration for Marquez brothers

shamarone i myself dont begrudge the spanish contingent at all. it seems a case of getting out what you put in .. and the spanish fans, firms and teams are to be comended for their level of passion and involvement in our sport..wish there were more countries that followed their example.makes me want to relocate to spain ....a place where my sporting interests are considered more mainstream.not to mention newsworthey and buisinesses are keen to sponsor the sport because they gain full national exposure through extensive posative media attention... good for them, i say..

MotoGP » Marquez: New era depends on more than one rider

in short, what used to make him fast doesnt anymore because the bench mark he created has become the next level of entry for the new guys and as with all sport the science and perameters have evolved towards progression and not remained static.. if he can adapt il be suprised.. no amazed... but it shouldnt diminish his contribution in any way.. hes adapted through so much allready but even greats can only stretch what they had so far for so long .. time waits for no one...but i think to his credit hes not going quietly

herewego... yes its all part of the cycle of ageing in any sport.. at the moment mm is pure natural abillity with a brain like a sponge... when the formats changed a few times and hes had enough of throwing himself down the track his analitical brain will begin the process of eroding the natural talent his creative unconscious developed for him to ride that way without really knowing what was makeing him faster.. this happens to all champions in sport who hang around.to long... and to his credit vale loves what he does so much hes allays going to retire under a cloud than a rainbow because he needs to be made to leave.... hes raised the more than most ever get to do but his origonal raw speed natural abillity was overcome by the analitical processes of ageing years ago. but best of luck to him.

the posetives of electronics in todays sport is viewing specticle,, the throtle control of doohan , rainey, schwants and co arent a prerequesite to sliding a motorcycle without serous regular injury, the very reason tc was developed in the first place, now if you have a good setup you can push the envalope in a different but boader context working the bike within the limits of a wider spectrum of finites... yes the factorys software gives broarder perameters for doing this but big team budgets allways have and will regardless of electronics .even sheene et al knew he needed factory bikes to win..its just that the new breed will push what ever they have more because it allways comes down to who can get the most out of what they have and the young guns will have sorted tc that allows them to push other perameters that wernt fully available to their forebears and tyre development willfollow suit.. ttc etc...que redding espagaro and the new blood

on topic... wrong mark... it only takes one mark ...you... anyone notice the sucalties of lorenzos and danis style modifications as the seasons progressed.. the last rookie to win dragged his knee on the ground while no one else at the time hung off enough... the herd soon followed, not because they knew what we know today but because they couldnt compete otherwise , and it looked bloody cool back then... although mm isnt as unique as king kenny, the young guns will be all about elbows and slide, not because we have proven data that it works but because its how to compete, oh and its the new super cool ... that mark is why one person CAN spurn a new era....

although its easy to agree with rider aids being too prominant in overall rider performance, and im in favor of curtailing them and horsepower completely, i also realise that this will make the series totally irrelivent to manufacturers and the viewing public over , say , wsb. yes it will encourage cheeper close racing with fuller grids and more teams with a chance of success but there will allways be big budget teams coming up with superior packages because they can try (afford)more derivatives of the developmental process
