F1 » POLL: Did Rosberg deliberately go off in Q3 in Monaco?

Personally I feel this is a result of PROST getting in the team and twisting Rosberg's and Hamilton's mind. Rosberg is the one he has split the team partnership first. Lewis is saying few words, but very deep words indeed, all after Prost coming in the team. Lewis needs to know his data is more valuable to Rosberg, why do what Prost and Senna got up to, when Alonso taught Lewis the biggest lesson of them all, witdraw your data and let your team mate do his own work. If Rosberg can play dirty, Lewis should play extra fair! Lewis should race tomorrow, second place to start is not all bad, apparently, we all know Rosberg is the weaker driver who has not matched Lewis this season in quali or the race without something iffy happening

F1 » Monaco Grand Prix - Starting grid

“If the race is run in the dry today, then it will be an endurance race to see who can stay out on track the longest.” This could give some drivers the incentive to make a very early pit stop and try to finish the race without stopping again. The high chance of a Safety Car appearance at Monaco gives another reason to risk this kind of strategy. If it is dry then I’m hoping Massa pits at the end of the first lap so that he can run in clear air for a lot of laps, massively undercut the midfielders in front of him and then try to get all the way to the end. Not very original (e.g. Alonso 2010 did this to finish 6th from 24th on grid) but not sure whether these tyres can do a whole race. Safety car(s) would help.

F1 » POLL: Did Rosberg deliberately go off in Q3 in Monaco?

I can understand him driving off the track because he was carrying too much speed, but starting to reverse back onto the track was either amazingly stupid, which I don't believe he is, or a calculated ploy to bring out the yellow flags. There wasn't enough time left for him to do another lap, so there was nothing to gain apart from stopping Lewis grabbing pole. And his ridiculous celebrations in front of Lewis, just for winning pole, show what a very poor sportsman he is. how you can carry too much speed on a dry track in 4th gear? He was wobblying his wheel well before he "lost" his car in the 18 miles per hour turn in.

F1 » Hamilton angry over Rosberg error

Last year the pair started from the same positions, and although Hamilton got a better start and got his nose in front of Rosberg’s, he had to back down when they reached turn one. One factor that may have changed. That could be one big game of chicken at the first corner with Hamilton as un-bothered about them colliding as Rosberg was about fluffing the corner and causing a yellow. But a collision may not play out as he wants it, especially since he is on the outside. Rosberg could still survive, get big points whilst he gets 0 points. And if he causes the collision, he might receive a +10 place grid penalty for Canada. If he really is that certain in his abilities that he will beat Rosberg over the season, he will wait and take the second place. After all, he might easily have Rosberg under control in the next races. I guess you have been brought back down to earth
