F1 » Hamilton sets British record with pole

Gilles: Another great qualifying from Lewis. If the Red bulls hold up Rosberg tomorrow, Lewis could win this race at a canter.
Thats my thought initially because once Lewis makes turn 3 and Nico still stuck behind the RB duo then its season race over unless a safety car comes to play again. Now Nico will be feeling like how Lewis was feeling back in 2011

F1 » Rosberg to clear the air with Hamilton over Bahrain

Mark : Nico needs to hold his ground and not let Lewis push him around.
If you believe that Lewis is pushing Nico around, then Nico is weak!!! The race was there for Nico to win, but he failed. In F1 there are some things you have to snatch forcefully and not take it looking at the persons face. When Button squeezed Lewis to the Wall in Canada do you think Button cared about been teammates

F1 » Red Bull appeal rejected

Mozartist: Undeniable proof of the old saying: "If you want justice, go to a brothel. If you want to get shagged, go to court." Shame on mercedes for requesting a season ban on RBR. They obviously missed that passage in the Bible: "Let the one without sin throw the first stone". Hopefully, soon they'll get what's coming to them. Mo
Please tell us what was RBR's role in last years test gate? They obviously missed that passage in the Bible "Do to others as you would have them do to you"

F1 » Red Bull appeal rejected

The FIA CoA was never going to rule any differently. The appeal from RBR was based on the legal force of Technical Directives. For RBR to win the appeal the FIA would have to agree that the TDs are impotent and can be ignored which goes against many years of precedent of teams including RBR implicitly agreeing that the TDs clarify and define the rules. Furthermore if the TDs could be ignored for this year, then 2014 would turn into a farce allowing teams to interpret the rules in anyway that keeps to the letter of them without worrying about TDs making their interpretation illegal. I think RBR knew this and just wanted to hang out the dirty laundry in public. Mercedes likened Red Bulls case to the 2005 BAR case: BAR was disqualified from one event and banned from two other events after they had consciously breached the minimum weight requirement during the race. In my opinion, its clear that Red Bull defied the FIAs guidelines for a 0.4s per lap advantage, but its difficult to prove as

F1 » Domenicali stands down at Ferrari

MikeP: Watch out! Ferrari will podium in China now!
The ice cream van that drives past my house every sunday has more chance of getting a podium in Shanghai ahead of the Ferrari's, unless both Grosjaen and Pastor managed to wipe out the top 8 cars at the first corner. Sepaing is a drivers track, Shanghai is more about the car
