MotoGP » Official: Casey Stoner returns to Ducati

Luvnit: I have no idea what this is all about! Casey slated Ducati when he left as they didn't listen to a word he said! Why on earth would they pay him to develop their bike now and more to the point, why the hell would Stoner go back? I can't work out who is the most desperate !!
Well for a start the management has totally changed, the design of the bike has changed, Preziosi and his carbon air box frame are gone. Plus they are probably paying him a s*** load of money, and they're bound to offer him a few wild card races... so why not?

WSBK » Yamaha confirms Crescent, Lowes, Guintoli for WSBK

I'm not sure about all these comments saying Crescent aren't good... When have they ever had a top bike to contend with? In their MotoGP days the Suzuki wasn't the best but they still did ok, had some notable results over the years. They managed to get John Hopkins - a BSB wild card onto a WSBK pole at Silverstone in 2011.. I wouldn't write them off just yet.

RR » Classic TT: Anstey returns on YZR500 GP bike

I doubt there's a whole lot more time to find round the TT course. Sure the likes of Rossi and Marquez are 'better' riders but it's a different skill set to take on the mountain course, you basically just need to have an absolutely massive pair. Short circuit riders are pampered with nice air fences and huge run off areas. Of course it still takes some serious guts to ride at the speeds they do, but put them on a course where you have to skim trees with your helmet to get a decent lap time and they probably won't be the gods we think they are any more.
