MotoGP » Eugene Laverty: MotoGP talks with Aprilia, Suzuki, Ducati

Find it very strange that anyone would want to hire Laverty, no direspect I rate him highly in WSBK, but just don´t think he has the potential to make an impact in Moto GP, reckon he is at the pinnacle of his career, hasn´t proven much this year apart from a good start at PI and is regularly beaten by his teammate. He isn´t young and promising anymore and there seems to be a pool of talent elsewhere who are more worthy of a ride than Eugene.

MotoGP » Dani Pedrosa re-signs for Honda

Logical choice by HRC, MM is their main man and Dani is a perfect wingman, brings in the points like clockwork for the manufactors title and poses no real threat to MM. Tired og all the anti Dani bias on here, guys won 3 WC and won more races than most and yet gets a bashing nearly every weekend by the anti brigade who reckon someone else deserves his ride, until someone starts beating him on a regular basis then I might incline to agree

WSBK » Bimota's Iddon hails ‘wonderful opportunity’

aircooled4: Difference between norton and bimota is that bimota never built an engine, norton used to....
Shamrone is right and knows his Bimota history, fair play Actually they did make an engine, the ill fated V-Due 500 between 1997-98, a 500 cc 2 stroke. The bikes engine was riddled with problems from birth and deemed unridable due to among other major fueling isues, still a beauty though. Apparantly the cost of the project brought Bimota into recievership.

MotoGP » Pedrosa happy with podium feat at 'difficult' track

Quite suprised the amount of stick Dani gets on this site, look at his results and tell me who is more worthy of his ride. Sometimes think he would earn more respect driving a POS earning a few points every round, than what he gets now. Will he be WC, probably not, nothing wrong with the guys pace his amount of fastest laps proves that, to me Danis problem lies within his mind, just don´t think he has the mental strengh and the motivation in him like JL and MM, does not take away the fact the he is still one of 3 aliens in the championship( could be 4 if VR continues to up his game). For HRC Dani is the guy who brings in the steady points, round after round and therefore an important factor in them winning the WC. His contract expires this year and maybe it is time for Dani to change to other pastures, the Suzuki gig would be a great oppurtunity for him, no pressure no expectations maybe he could get some of his mojo back and enjoy racing again
