F1 » Mercedes dominance is good for F1, says Smedley

I've always thought that Rob Smedley seemed like a good bloke, I really like the fact that he's said this. F1 needs more positive stories to be put out there instead of all the bitching and moaning. Ok so last week's race wasn't the best and yes the new technology is rather complicated... However, Monaco is still on the calendar every year and I doubt that many of us were experts on blown diffusers either so I don't really see why there's so much negativity around at the moment. Mercedes won't remain dominant forever. (Although I own a Merc so I quite like it at the moment. I just ignore the fact that it's from 2012)

F1 » Wolff: F1 doesn’t need a big shake-up

im going to cower after saying this, but I agree with him. I don't think it needs a 'shake up' at all, like a previous poster has said, it's a shake up that got us to where we are now. I just think it needs a few slight changes (I'm not sure what they are, probably something to do with tyres or fuel) and give the field time to bunch up. Then this modern F1 has the potential to be awesome. Oh and yes. Bernie should probably go, his time is over.

F1 » Horner surprised by Mercedes stance

For goodness sake, surely this whole team order thing is a bit of a non-story? You can tell it's the summer break. It was more like a team request, it's not like they pushed the issue. To which Hamilton (sorry, Lulu for those who apparently like to give him a petname) didn't really refuse, he just said he wouldn't hold him up if he got close enough. I fear that we're going to have lots of stories like this over the coming weeks. "Team boss x is surprised by y" etc etc. Spa, please hurry up and get here!

F1 » Hamilton ‘stronger’ for recent setbacks

MaddMe: Anyone would think that Lulu was about the only driver in F1 at the moment, due to the way the majority of articles mention his name... Time for someone to gag him I think!!!
I know!!! that god damn Lewis Hamilton really needs to stop writing articles about himself! Grrrrrr
Lol.. I know, right? He just goes up to reporters and demands to be asked questions.

F1 » Ricciardo snatches win in Canada thriller

So pleased that Daniel Ricciardo won, really deserved it. Yes he kind of lucked into it, but he still had to convert the opportunity. Also pleased that Hamilton didn't moan or blame anyone else today. (Yay.. I'm a fanboy troll again.... Well, at least until he next speaks) Hate to say it, but I'm not disappointed that a certain Marrussia driver can no longer cling onto a stat that apparently justifies him being a racing driver.
