MotoGP » Loris Baz looking for a ride

I thought the reasoning presented by Aspar for rejecting Baz was very open and straight forward... he doesnt fit on the bike. There have been other comments here about how 'average size' blokes should be represented, Baz is not an average sized bloke, hes just short of 6'4". There are physical requirements and restrictions on all sorts of professions, thats a fact of life. A magnificant 6'4" specimen of masculinity will never be a featherweight boxing champion, thats no reflection on his talent or potential within the sport. The only thing Aspar could be critisized for is failing to spot the obvious before making an offer afterall Baz didnt grow 4" overnight.

WRC » Meeke demoted to fifth in Australia

Rallying is the fastest time between point A and point B surely. Look at Ypres.... the cars are on grass as often as tarmac. The use of bales is common to demark a route, ie chicanes... if this corner was a potential problem why weren't there bales to make it impossible to cut too much? How did they arrive at 61 secs for a penalty? Its extremely harsh.

F1 » Kate Walker: Playing to empty theatres

A series skewed to advantage those with bottomless pockets, second rate drivers paying to drive, manufactured dramas more obvious than the worst soaps, five hours of drivel preceding races masquerading as 'premium content' on pay tv, a principal player who beats a bribery charge by effectively paying another bribe to the court...... and they wonder why people aren't flocking through the turnstiles... Its only 98 Euro this Sunday 'let them eat cake'

WSBK » Alex Lowes: Suzuki is the best opportunity

I think you underestimate Eugene greatly greavesit. He was brilliant in the last 5 races in 2013 and I think finally decided he wasn't going to be pushed around anymore by the likes of Melandri.which bodes well for this season. Alex is a huge talent and has shown pace in testing but keep in mind that Eugene was running development parts for most testing which robbed him of precious track time, while Alex was running a set up familiar to the team. I hope the bikes are competitive, their riders certainly are..
