WSS » Phillip Island - Race results

On the 4th lap whilst in 4th place Kenan was pushed aside by Smith forced to go off the track & had his brake lever protector broken & rejoined the race from 18th position before passing 12 riders in front of him in the remaining laps to finish in a respectable 6th place which was a good come back but he deserved a podium spot at the least. He is fresh and raring to go. Kawasaki make sure you support the man in the way he deserves. Apart from that there were no more incidents of riders going off or any flags which was a welcome change from the usual incident and accident packed WSS races.

WSS » Donington Park - Race results

How much bad luck can go Kenan's way this year. Hopefully this race was the sign of things turning around. When smoke started coming out and he dropped to 5th it felt like a big case of dejavu. It was an exciting race by the other 4 riders. Bad luck to Zanetti who suffered the same fate Kenan has in the past few races. We done to VD Mark.

WSS » Sofuoglu blasts 5 lap WSS race decision

Cluzel deserved the win there is no doubt about that. The issue at hand is the decision to shorten the race to 5 laps at the restart when there was ample time to run the balance of the race as scheduled. The point he is trying to make is there was no need to reduce the race distance to 5 laps and he didn't fly all the way to Australia for a 5 lap rat race. Take what you want from his comments but I see it as a fair analysis of the situation. He crashed which is also his fault and doesn't take anything away from the eventual winner. Credit where it is due. I was at the race and all of us were left feeling shortchanged due to the reduced race. The time between the normal WSS race and the restart was around 30 minutes which kept dragging on. The 2nd SBK race started on schedule and if the restarted WSS race ran the normal distance it still would have had no bearing on the 2nd SBK race.
