MotoGP » Marquez: Time to change mentality

RaceRoad: So is he gonna ride like Jorge did to secure the title? Alot of people hated JL for that. saying hes no real racer. so now mm is a fake racer too.
Jorge was clever while fighting for his title, he did all his work in the early parts of the season's. Damage limitation is part of racing, why fight for a victory you don't need and throw it down the road and cost yourself the title? Losing 5 points is better than losing 25.
For me what Jorge did was fine and clever but not for alot others bashing JL. lmao now mm say the same thing.

MotoGP » MotoGP weight changes, software freeze

Let dainese make suits for DP and MM that are more heavy and taller. so that it would be fair for the bigger riders on fuel weight aerodynamics braking accelerating tyre wear. and for DP and MM with such a suit have the so called advantage of flipping the bike over more easy. I just dont get why honda isnt pushing for it if bigger riders have any advantage for it. Normaly with every advantage honda is fast to introduce it so why not now??

TalentFan: Surely weight is a factor when fuel energy is limited? More weight needs more energy to accelerate at the same rate as something lighter, while more weight stresses tyres more. More weight requires more energy to stop it, meaning more stress on front tyres, while there is more centrifugal force as the greater weight exterts greater force through fast turns. All this without considering the larger frontal area and drag a heavier rider is likely to have over a lighter one. All in all, there seems to me to be far more negatives than positives disadvantaging bigger and heavier riders. I think Honda agree with me too, as they employ small and light riders on their Factory bikes.
true so true and another thing.....aerodynamics. So bigger riders have alot more dissadvantage. Loris bazz cant even ride for tall. he just doesnt fit on it. Honda has great bikes for midgets
