WSBK » Rea: I am sure I was quicker than Sykes…

Alucard42: I still not get it.. he is faster and he DID manage to overtake, but why then getting passed back ? is it bcoz he overtake in wrong turn or too hot ?
His pass caused him to run slightly wide. What the TV may not show clearly is how much faster Rea was into turn 2, where he was later on the brakes and carrying more speed, but overtaking is difficult. Had he gotten in front, he could have used this advantage to build a gap over the laps. They were quite evenly matched through much of the circuit, making a pass difficult. Race 2 he looked to struggle more than Race 1, having several moments that cost him time.

WSBK » Untouchable Davies doubles up Stateside

What a great day to be at Laguna Seca. Such a pleasure to watch Chaz do the business in person. It sprinkled a tiny bit at the beginning of Race 2, where I was watching from the corkscrew, and to see the amount of power he was putting down coming out of it showed how confident he was in the bike. Watching him walk away from Sykes/Rea was spectacular. Couldn''t have happened to a nicer guy, he's earned it.

MotoGP » MotoGP Race Director talks Rossi, Marquez incident

I am gobsmacked at all the controversy this is causing. This seemed like a fairly typical Marquez move, a bit rough, but VR handled it well and didn't resort to handbag swinging. MM, on the other hand seemed a bit miffed that the move didn't work in his favor. Logic would dictate that once he saw the footage, he would realize VR was in front and get over it.

MotoGP » Pedrosa: It was a day to forget

Realist: He is, but his '15 chassis is not the same spec as Marquez's (..nor was it ever). J.Lo and Rossi don't run the same spec chassis either.
Thanks. Any ideas what the spec differences are? They both seemed to struggle on the new chassis, wondering how significant the spec differences are from rider to rider. Also, damn it's hot up here in Jefferson!
