F1 » Smedley: Closed F1 cockpits ‘very easy to implement’

Other recommendations: 1) Extraction Vehicles to have "protective guard rail"(crash cage) for the gaps between the chassis and perhaps just a few inches above the ground. ......to prevent this worst imaginable crash scenario, where it appears most of the impact was on the head. The "crash-cage" would have helped focused impact more on the F1 car chassis and less on the driver. 2) FIA to implement or enforce strict rules to ensure safety car is sent out every time the safety-barriers are breached. Our prayers are with you, Jules

F1 » Raikkonen seeks repeat of 'best feeling'

"And Raikkonen said he would not change his driving style to adapt to the problems he has with the car as he feels that would mask issues that require fixing. " So that's the difference btw Alonso and Kimi. And it explains all.. Alonso superlative driving style has masked Ferrari's performance issues. Explains Ferrari's lack of positive improvements. Believe if they got the car to Kimi's liking, both drivers could be on the podium on a regular basis.
