MotoGP » Jerez Testing Times – Friday

Chadsays: So the top 2 Supers would have been ranked 3rd and 4th fastest of the prototypes... Maybe Kawasaki should put some experimental wings on their Superbike, call it a prototype and race it against the GPs! Pretty darn impressive if you ask me.
How can anybody disagree, the stats speak for themselves..

MotoGP » Redding 'riding at about 80 percent of my limit'

Hope Scott can put 2015 behind him,use the experience to his advantage and be realistic regards his expectations, letting results do the talking. Personally wanted him to join Pramac last year but the lure of a bike like MM was too good to turn down. Getting into Q2 with the depth of the field is going to be a result, finishing inside the top ten will be a goal for about 16 riders Mention for Baz,great start on his Ducati.

MotoGP » Aspar confirms Ducati, Laverty for 2016

The Open Honda experiment has been a huge disappointment, they have been expensive to buy/lease?,had very little ongoing support from HRC,(according to a recent Aspar interview) and have been pretty uncompetitive to boot. Seems they missed an opportunity with the Proddy of 2014,as Scott and Nicky proved it was a good handling bike quite easy to ride, but too slow.

MotoGP » Official: Rabat to MotoGP with Marc VDS

bikenutter: He deserves it but I'm yet to be convinced. I want to see the team do well so I wish them all the best. My concern is that he's suceeded in Moto2 through days and days worth of practice and testing. You simply cannot do that on a GP bike.
Unless you get rewarded for winning Moto 2 in 2014 with a go on a GP bike like Marquez Jnr did for winning Moto 3,only difference being Tito got in 60 laps on Michelin tyres, which on any another day would be classed as unofficial testing getting data ready for a headstart come Valencia. Then again Miller had whole days extra to the rest of the field before 2015 kicked off.

Yearby23: I'm still dubious about Rabat, whether he'll be any good at GP level. I think with a good bike he could be fighting for the top 10 but I'd like him to surprise me. He's a hard worker which is good but he's a slow learner which might go against him.
On paper getting into the top ten next season will be a result. 2 works Yams..2 works Honda's..2 Sat Yams..2 Sat Honda's..2 Works Dukes..2 Pramac Dukes..2 Works Suki's..that's 14 without Yonny,Miller, the Aprilla's etc who could all pull off some surprise results depending on who gets to grips with the tyre changes and the stock ECU

MattyMKO745:
cfsteezy: Miller will stay on the rs again? What if he locks down open class champ? Then what?
RS won't be here next season... Most likely it will be this year RCV or he could even get 2016 one.. That is not decided yet
Looks like at this moment in time Miller is going to be odd man out on the grid as no other team seems to want to run Honda's.Aspar have said there is too little support for the cost included with running HRC machinery Please correct me if I'm wrong but don't the rules state two works and two satellite bikes per manufacturer, which means Miller will have to have a 2015 version what ever that means seeing as all four of the current RCV's have different frames, swinging arms etc, sharing engine and gearbox. No doubt HRC will have the rules amended to suit.
