MotoGP » MotoGP Malaysia - Full Qualifying Results

RDix: Aoyama deserves to stay on the grid he's been the best open Honda rider the second half of the year. An injured Nicky is still outrunning Redding big surprise there. I guess the boy who feels he "deserves" a satellite Honda ride doesn't feel the need to try now that he has one....or is it he's just not that good??
Aoyama over 3 seconds behind Scott at Phillip Island and Haydon over 4 seconds behind good job he's given up trying or it would have been more. VR 8th on grid first in race,no I'm saying Scott is in same league as VR but don't pass judgement until the end of the race.

MotoGP » Marquez has changed race culture, says Redding

Jack Mordino: I'm glad an "insider" offers his opinion and supports what I've been asserting for quite some time now: Marquez has established a new paradigm of racing, which was pioneered (in MotoGP) by Simoncelli (not that Marquez copied Simoncelli - it's just that he is made of the same stuff). Far more aggressive than the previous racing consensus and of course far more spectacular. That's the main reason I dislike Stoner as a racer, although I admire him as a rider: He went the opposite way - he didn't want anyone close to him, ever, and made it verbal on every possible occasion.
Nobody can dispute that CS was, probably still is,as fast as anybody on a moto gp bike but he always seemed to hate close contact racing. Think MM would have caused some major strops from CS where as VR seems to have enjoyed his battles with him.

MotoGP » MotoGP Australia - Race Results

Lodge: Like last year, another set of joke shop tyres for Oz. Someone at Bridge stone must be wetting themselves! Let's see if Michelin can do a more serious job.
Bet the Bridgestone bosses had a fast boat ready to make a quick escape. MM,Cal and Pol all lost the front end braking in a straight this time next year Bridgestone will be winding down, the Michelins should be ready by then (less than a month to Valencia testing for 2016),maybe they should be made an option for this race..for safety reasons.

alanw5293: If Cal can get a win before the end of the season Ducati loose the right to run 24 ltrs under the "works open" rules. They would perhaps have to reduce the power to save fuel which would be quite beneficial to a rider on a LCR Honda to whom the Ducati's would be a main threat..just a thought![\blockquote Cal get a win??? I think not. At least Dovi and Iannone have kept their head down and grafted all year without griping. Crazy Joe was a renowned crasher and during the first half of the season he was quicker than Cal on the same machinery. [\blocrkquote] Was a bit of a tongue in cheek post
